The Force Awakens is awesome indeed! :rock

What do you think of the RevolTech ones ?

Buy me something :)

I'm not a big fan of the Revoltech ones. I think Revoltech does some pretty cool stuff, but I saw Flosi's sitting on the shelf at the house during Celebration, and he looked a little funky. Figuarts are da bestest.

I'd love to, but gotta save those points for Hoth Leia or Walrus Man.

You're dad looks like KenBen. :lol

I was thinking the same thing. There definitely is at least some resemblance.

Sideshow still hasn't shipped my Boba Fett. WTF Sideshow!

I'm seeing Star Wars tomorrow at 7:00, but gonna try to get there a couple hours early. Nothing worse than getting front seats at the Imax theater.

Aw man, your Imax doesn't do assigned seating? :(

I love mine, they started doing that a while back. Just stroll on in! :rock

Kinda silly, but I'd probably watch it! :lol

I refuse to become overly optimistic. It still hasn't even hit me yet that I'm seeing the new movie TOMORROW! But knowing my luck, I'll get in a car accident today, or a plane will crash on me...
It wasn't bad.

I am am assuming it will be bad like TPM and anything else is a bonus :lol

I've slept on it and I still think TFA rocked. :rock

The PT wasn't even close. It feels like Star Wars, the acting is great, effects look amazing. Finn and Rey are great characters, Finn is probably my favorite character in the movie. Right amount of humor, Harrison does a great job as Han Solo. The 3-D was well done. There are a few things one can complain about but they really delivered with this movie.

Beware if using tapatalk. the kylo ren, TFA review (figure related) and movie thread shows a VERY big spoiler picture in tapatalks preview window.

Thanks for the heads-up. I unsubbed from the TFA thread a while ago, and I've been avoiding the TFA figure threads. Managed to remain mostly spoiler-free; I have a vague idea of what Snoke looks like thanks to the Tapatalk issue you mentioned, but other than that I'm going in blind.

My girlfriend isn't as invested in the film and warned me that spoilers are everywhere right now -- I've stayed off Twitter, never look at Facebook anyway ... so I'm good, and now...going to see TFA this evening!

I had a Star Wars marathon the past weekend...OT plus the "Phantom Edit" as I didn't want to sit through prequels.

I hadn't seen ROTJ in a very long time. It really doesn't age well. :lol

My adoration for ANH has not abated, and I still love ESB but the marathon just confirmed that I actually like ANH a little better in spite of enjoying set pieces and certain characters like Vader more in ESB.

I expect TFA to be an enjoyable film, with distinctly modern sensibilities that will call back to the OT in terms of characters and various design tropes. I think that objectively speaking it will be the best Star Wars film to date, only in the sense that I think it will look better thanks to contemporary production values blended with an 'artisanal' approach, and will *probably* have better writing and dialogue, as neither of those were ever Lucas' strong suits.

I also suspect the acting (line delivery etc.) will be better as JJ is going to get better performances out of his cast. Harrison will finally get a chance to really *act* in a Star Wars film. ;)

I really don't think it will ever live up to the legacy, hype and nostalgia of ANH and ESB, nor does it need to. It really is its own thing, and will belong to a younger generation in a different way than the OT belonged to me. These are different kids in a different world now.

(I know I sound like Old Man Solo -- I'm 42.)

I'm interested to see if I'm right about everything I just wrote.
