Finally made time yesterday to watch TFA for only the second time -- this time a regular screening rather than 3D IMAX vibrating seats etc.

I really dig it overall.

Can you guys believe this is the kind of sculpting underneath the cheap factory paint of the Hasbro Black Series?!

Vibrating seats? :naughty I did NOT realize that was a thing.

Who did that Rey repaint?! For some reason the link won't load for me.

I've never wanted to **** a figure before, but suddenly I do! :lecture

I just learned of this two days ago. I guess it's a 4D experience, with seats that move and vibrate or something like that. I have been to a Cinesation movie before, where the audio vibrations are part of the seat, so you feel everything, but supposedly this has more. Gurnee, IL supposedly has it. Ben, have you gone to it?

And we booked venue for our wedding! May 2017, the last weekend they had availible in 2017. People are apparently already booking in 2019!
Congrats! In Sweden, or elsewhere?

This will make Celebration 2017 even better i think!
I have to disagree with this. Until last year, the Celebrations have all been the month before the movie release. There was more to celebrate! They had WAY more panels relating to the movies, because the movies were complete. With Celebration being 7 months before the movie, we aren't going to get as many panels dedicated to the new movie. They won't show us much at all, just like at CVII. I prefer the May releases. Or move Celebration to November. Either way...

Nope, I've never been to the 4D thing. That theater is the pits.

Anybody here got an extra Lego Raptor Escape set from Jurassic World? I'm thinking about buying one on ebay for a lot of money.

Yes in Sweden, just outside of my hometown. Going there today to have a tour of the place and finalise the booking. After that I can let my fiancee and my mother/her mother go crazy with planning.

I only had one wish and that was that our entrance music will be the Star Wars theme and that is approved! :)

Martial arts classes are awesome. :rock

My first go at a martial art but I really enjoyed it.

Saw TFA for the 8th time, which now makes it the movie I've seen the most at the theater. The original Star Wars, Terminator 2, and The Fellowship of the Ring were all tied at 7 viewings each.

I even noticed something new:

When Rey is sneaking around Starkiller Base I noticed on my last viewing that when she hides from a squad of approaching Stormtroopers that one of the troopers in the lead is an officer with a red pauldron...on his left shoulder. I thought that was odd as no other trooper has ever been seen (either OT Sandtroopers or other TFA officers) wearing it on the left. When I reflected on the scene I wondered if they pulled a "Boba Fett in Jabba's palace" and flipped the film image for that one scene.

So tonight when that scene happened again I paid attention to how Rey was holding Daniel Craig's blaster and sure enough she was also holding it in her left hand for just that one scene. So when they filmed it the troopers would have been heading left and Rey was going right but in the editing room Abrams must have decided that it flowed better if they were going opposite directions and he flipped the footage.

You won't be able to see them anyway since you're always volunteering. :monkey3

I noticed that a couple viewings ago. For some reason it bugs me because the pauldron is wrong.

That entire scene is flipped. Rey is holding the blaster as a left handed person in only that scene. And the black circles on the backs of the troopers are reversed as well.
