Thanks for posting... Stormtrooper Han looks good, and nice to see HT will treat 1/4 to the same over-abundance of Iron Man armors :lol

A Star Wars fan can not seriously be slamming iron man? Not with a straight face. There are already nearly as many stormtroopers as iron man suits...with 7 years less time.

Quick look at just the current catalog and there are 18 stormtroopers. That are released. Not counting the Han and Finn. (I'm including tie pilots and snow troopers). That's in under two years. There are 24 iron men figures if you count rerelease and iron monger and whiplash. In 8 years.

Oh, I'm serious... not really slamming, more joking.

But in a 1/4 series... for SW you have Vader, Fett and 1 Stormtrooper. For Marvel you have Iron Man, another Iron Man... and wait for it, a 3rd Iron Man :lol

We spent five days in London and five in Edinburgh. Liked London, but loved Edinburgh. We stayed at Grange Langham Court in London. I didn't even think about going to FP. Doh! :lol
Wow, you suck! That's one of the things I'm most looking forward to! You probably didn't go to Hamleys, either! That's the old famous multi-level toy store in London (since 1881). I'm staying at the Garth Hotel (I knew it was close to Ganch), which seems to be like 6-7 blocks from your hotel. You chose a good area. I was specifically looking for something in that area. I wanted to be walking distance from Leicester Square area. Being near the British Museum is also good. I've been to London before, so I don't need to be all touristy. I will go to Forbidden Planet and Hamleys for sure. Other than those, I have no idea what I'm going to do, besides seeing theater at night. And I haven't picked out the two shows I plan on seeing yet...

Ken, let's be honest.

You only have a small tube. :rotfl
Kenbenobi :thwak Furystorm

is it worth going back and picking up? I have all of the Star Wars comics that had Kenner variants but haven't read one :lol
The Yoda variant just came out, and my stores didn't get it!!! Will have to order online. Kinda pissed about that...

Some of my comics, well, most of them really. There used to be more....

What's with that old ass monitor in the middle? Is that an old Apple computer???

Take the train. At least you know ahead that the super cheap airfare you got is crazy restrictive unlike most people.
I thought about it. I've never taken that train (it didn't exist back when I first traveled Europe in 1991). I'm kinda concerned I'd freak out being underground for so long. I'm somewhat claustrophobic. I realize that sounds crazy, since flying doesn't bother me much. But I think it's cause I used to fly for business before I became claustrophobic, so I'm used to it. I still have issues on planes, if the plane is stuck on the runway, not moving. If it's moving, I'm OK. I also take pills to relax me, and I have to have an aisle seat now... This all started in 2008, after I was really ill. When I got better, I became claustrophobic and also lost the use of one nostril--it alternates, as if I have a constant cold, but they almost never are clear at the same time - those "moments of clarity" are few and far between (maybe twice a year), and lasts for like 15 minutes at most. Weird, eh?

Great episode. Probably the best of the entire show. Very draining, but also emotionally rewarding.
Yeah, that was awesome. The battle... Wow. There's a great episode recap HERE:

And what's the common in those 1/4 protos? Helmets. Fully face concealment. And again, they have had marvel for nearly 10 years and have one 1/4 figure released. Star Wars has been had for under two years. They have one. Marvel has two upcoming we know about, and Star Wars has three(Vader, kylo, trooper).

I figured you where half joking. But unfortunetly the complaining about iron man is nearly non stop. Every single time a figure is released or revealed there is someone that complains about iron man. If it's a batman figure or a resident evil figure people gotta say something about iron man. It gets pretty old. And a Star Wars collector really has no room to complain. At the current rate in two years there will be two times as many storm troopers as iron man figures. If they completed the entire House part protocol it would still be fwell short of the current pace. And at the current pace by the time they completed it there would be 21 more storm troopers then iron man figures. Throw in phasma and any human troopers (Han, Finn and whatever may happen in the upcoming films) and the numbers are extemely slanted in the favor of troopers. And they have yet to introduce scouts and other variations.

For me I think it's great they make them all. But the complaining gets a bit hard to swallow at times. Right now iron man is barley ahead of storm troopers in total figures. By next year it won't be. But the outrage and complaining aimed at iron man is not equaled by that of the troopers.

Look like an old iMac.

Its not that long it's like 30 min in the tunnel. It feels like a longer subway ride. The only difference is you get that need to pop your ears due to the pressure once you enter the tunnel due to the concussion effect of doing almost 200mph then entering a tunnel.

Hmmm, 30 minutes isn't too bad. I didn't want to spend 90 minutes in a tunnel... Is there adequate luggage space on the train? I may look into it. The plane ticket only cost me $65 (I didn't buy luggage yet), so if I eat the $65, so be it... It could be worse.

I'm going to save this pic, whenever my wife complains I'm just going to show her this and tell her to be thankful I've only got about five long boxes.

I enjoyed both the Vader comic and the Star Wars comic so I would say yes.

Cool, I'll see if I can get a trade

I was buying those, but not reading them. I ended up selling them. :lol

I might be heading down that route too :lol

Great episode. Probably the best of the entire show. Very draining, but also emotionally rewarding.

It was fantastic. The fight for Winterfell was probably my favorite of the entire series.

I really like that Finn Stormtrooper, although I'm not sure I like it enough to buy....

You want a pic of mine?... I think I have just as many long boxes as fury has short boxes! :horror I really need to trim some down again.

I looked up your hotel on the map. If you want to eat somewhere very hip, go to Bubbledogs. You're very close to it. It's champagne and hot dogs! If you don't want champagne, you can get a beer or something from the bar.

There's also Gigs Fish & Chips. We didn't go there, but it's also very close to you. They've been around for over 50 years. I would've loved to have tried that. Now I need to go back. :panic:

Thanks for the tip! Here's another place I might try. fury and Punk would like this place, I'm sure, even though it's mainly UK comic artists:
https://www.cartoonmuseum.org/about/history-of-the-museum
I'm mainly interested in the Doctor Who art, but they also have originals by Garry Trudeau and Charles Schulz.

I think the total time is a couple hours and most of it out in the country side. You get a lil time in tunnels getting in and out of the cities. Yeh there is plenty of room, I had two suitcases and a camera bag and had plenty of room. Not sure the price buy might be worth looking at, even for the future.

If I go one day later than I want to go, it is super cheap (41 pounds!!!) But I really don't want to lose a day in Paris. I want to spend a day at Disneyland, then two days in Paris itself. It's looking like $108 for the day I want to go. I'll have to think about it. I already spent $65 on the plane ticket. The luggage will cost me an additional 19 pounds, and be super-restrictive for my carry-ons. Not to mention having to deal with airport security... I clearly made a mistake buying that ticket. :slap

On the bright side, Disney is CHEAP compared to the US!!! $67 for a one-day two-park ticket! A week earlier would have been only $53! BARGAIN!!!

What if you take Eurostar straight to Disneyland? I think they're are lockers, then take the train to Paris at the end of the night?
