:lol Yeah that was kind of awful to watch. It's definitely on Beatty to some degree. Definitely not all his fault but at some point he needed to say, "I have the card for best actress not best picture" instead of just hamming it up.

I had not seen any of the movies but got a fair amount right using my Hollywood is full of Dbags system

Pick the black person or black movie. That worked very well but not for some of the more behind the scenes type awards.
Pick the person from the banned county. That one paid off.
When in doubt pick La La Land.

Isn't it also an old Indian symbol meaning peace?

If I remember...ancient Sanskrit, also found in old runes (Skaldic, maybe?) -- pretty universal, often called "sun-wheel" -- and indicative of peace, yes. I believe a version of it was inverted for its now most infamous usage.

The symbol has been used for thousands of years pre WW2. The most simple way to tell the difference is virtually all previous and current usage have it straight up and down where the Nazi used the crooked version.

However the toy has nazi style ones but really isnt R2-D2 just a similar shaped droid.

I'm sure we'll hear about Kenben's date tomorrow. I saw my friend last week, and I could probably use some outside perspective on it, but I'll just keep my mouth shut.

In the past, the tickets were numbered sequentially based on when sold and they had number ranges on the board for when you could line up for autographs. It helped to have a lower number if you wanted to get them done the first hours of the day. Since there is a different company handling it now, there's no telling what process they are going to have.
