I think the Oops I Crapped My Pants moment sums it up.

That's what I thought.... There would be a lot to think about being betrayed by your master all your plans being flushed down the drain and losing both hands could do it.:slap

no hands, the warm hum of two lightsabers surrounding your head like a pair of scissors...I think his chance at begging was pretty much gone and he decided to give a fading wtf glance at palps and to just take what was coming to him like a man

He only realized in that moment that Palpatine had been grooming Anaking to replace him. Too much information to process in too little time, and he froze up (I suspect). The instant before you're to be decapitated is not the appropriate time to be thinking.

Agreed. I think he was like. WTF ? I'm toast !

just need to get myself down there....I'd like something clone inspired from C6

Agreed. I am sure your chances are good.

Hello fellow star warsians,

I have a question that has plagued my mind for the past couple months, If my understanding is right count dooku knew that Palpatine was the sith lord which is referenced episode II, but then at the beginning of episode III when he is about to die. Why does he not plea for his life like The Emperor did when Mace is about to Kill him. Most sith are more cowardly I think when it comes to death and will plea not to die, is it because Dooku was once a Jedi and takes an honorable death? I have yet to read the actual Books from Episode 1-3 so it might fill in the blanks . I just don't see why he wouldn't try to convince anakin that palpatine was the emperor like he did to obi-wan in AOTC there is a split second where words could be spoken unless he was in pure shock. Thanks for anyones input!

This was actually mentioned in one of the Making of ROTS books. The script called for Dooku to plead "Help me" to Palpatine but Lee thought it was unbecoming of his character and convinced George to let him die a silent death.
