Guests will probably be announced later this year and panels are usually announced closer to the show.

I thought Lando and Chewie were excellent.
Robot was annoying
Besides names and stormtroopers in this movie, it lacked the Star Wars feel for me.

I agree with you. I enjoyed the movie overall. Lando and Chewie were fantastic. Loved Qira. Hated L3-37. Alden was OK as Han. Not fantastic, but not horrible like I anticipated (although he apparently was so bad, they had to bring in an acting coach for him, and he could be the main reason for the re-shoots, since the script was not changed at all). That being said, it didn't feel Star Wars to me. There were no Jedi, but Rogue One didn't either, and that film was FANTASTIC. I dunno. I enjoyed the movie a lot. Saw it 3 times so far, and am probably going again today. But it lacked the Star Wars feel to me...

What did you think about the surprise at the end Sean (no spoilers for those who haven't sen it yet)... I was curious what your take on it would be.

I totally called the first surprise (the person who betrayed Han near the end), but the mega surprise BLEW... MY... MIND!!! It's awesome they made that canon now... It's a shame the movie isn't doing well at the box office. That lessens the odds of getting a sequel, which they clearly left room open for.

I already threw my hat in the ring for volunteering. I'm not confirmed or anything, but hopefully it will happen... Did you guys book hotels already, or are you waiting for the convention block to go up? I know some people are staying further away, and Ubering in. It can be a LOT cheaper than way. But I love staying close. So it's a tough call...

My new play opened last night. Been busy with tech and dress rehearsals, so that's why I haven't been around in a while...
