You work in a hotel? I spent many years in the hotel industry. Then got into Hotel Software. Now in Financial Software. But I have fond memories of my hotel experience...

I have worked in hotels for far too long. Lots of good memories and great stories, but I should not still be doing this.

Thanks. I don't have the Triceratops vs. Tyrannosaurus diorama yet. It's one of my favorites, probably only second to the Carnotaurus maquette, but it's pretty tough to find. I did just buy this one from a guy in California. I'm really looking forward to seeing it in person.

I usually win more than I lose, and on my previous losing trips it was at most $300 loss or less. But this time it was just a lot that I lost.

Damn boy! You have the luck alright. My in laws are like that too, always winning something. One year they were up by $19k before the summer even hit. Me, I'm lucky if I can keep $100 longer than 5 minutes. This is just with slots and roulette though. I would love to sit and play blackjack and poker for a few hours. Maybe if I ever get out to Vegas. Here in Atlantic City the table minimums are too high.
