re: (galactiboy's Cantina) "Where everybody knows your name..."

I've seen all 3 Hangover films. Watch the first and stop there.

Two dicks are definitely better than one! :lol

The late, great Notorious B.I.G. would have to disagree with you :lol

WTF! :horror

Honestly, I wish. :lol

So, back on the topic of no topic. I'm going to see Hangover III today, but have not seen the first two. Is that wise?

I only saw the second one and I f'n hated it.

NO! Seeing Hangover 2 or 3 without having seen 1 is a BAD idea. You won't feel invested in the characters, and won't enjoy the film. It is very easy to skip 2. Other than the Mike Tyson tattoo reference, and knowing that Chow (Ken Jeong) is in jail, there isn't much background from 2 that you need to know. But there are MANY references to the first film. Part 3 is a much better sequel than 2 was.

But tomorrow is going to be: Now You See Me

Which I'm quite looking forward to. :D

I saw a preview of that a week and a half ago. It is decent. Not great by any means, but it is entertaining, and has a somewhat surprising ending.

Too late. The damage is done. It was alright, but I could tell I was missing stuff. Oh well. Don't dig on comedy too much anyway.

re: (galactiboy's Cantina) "Where everybody knows your name..."

First one is incredible, super funny and a great movie. #2 goes way over the top and tries to put way to much craziness in it... it's the worst of the 3. 3rd one mellows out and is good.

Agreed. I also thought part 2 tried to copy the first film too much. It wasn't very original. They were repeating the same formula, but in a new location. And it just didn't work as well... IMO, the 2nd film can be skipped. See the first film, and if you want a sequel, see the 3rd. Disregard the 2nd film entirely...

If you are gonna see Anchorman 2, you damn well better see the first film! LOVED the first one. Looking forward to the sequel...

re: (galactiboy's Cantina) "Where everybody knows your name..."

I just got a picture texted to me of two dicks together! :horror

Oh snap! :panic:

It's good to have the jump on the rest of the crowd.

That's how I score posters! :yess:

re: (galactiboy's Cantina) "Where everybody knows your name..."

Hope you both had a blast. And that Waller can come back for Rancho Obi-Wan in the Fall!

re: (galactiboy's Cantina) "Where everybody knows your name..."

I need someone to school me on a Star Wars question I have had for years. What was te point of Luke Vader being on Dagoba? Was it a dream? If the Empire knew where he was, why not send in the big guns?

re: (galactiboy's Cantina) "Where everybody knows your name..."

Am I missing another painfully obvious Home One type reference? :(

re: (galactiboy's Cantina) "Where everybody knows your name..."

Oh sorry! Misread your question. You said Luke Vader.

Yeah, that sequence was a hallucination of sorts, or foreshadowing of the climactic moment in ESB.

You can watch TV at work? ;)

I only work on Sunday, Monday, Tuesday and every other Wednesday night. The Ac was busted in our house and it was too hot to sleep. I managed to flip on Encore at just the right time, and in HD too!

To me the first one was a good movie but lost it's appeal with multiple viewings. The jokes grew old very fast.

The second one was so crappy that I shut it off halfway through. I don't think I laughed once.

Well look at those 2 sexy *****es. :D

re: (galactiboy's Cantina) "Where everybody knows your name..."

Flosi is the man! He brought me beer and his custom Tusken Raider. We had a great time eating dinner and hanging out.

Lovely family, Rich! :duff

re: (galactiboy's Cantina) "Where everybody knows your name..."

For some reason, I always thought Waller would be taller than Flosi. Regardless, your probably both taller than me.

In other news, I'm doing some tracking on that Perillo Return of the Jedi print I wasn't able to get through on. Not giving up that easily.
