re: (galactiboy's Cantina) "Where everybody knows your name..."

Now that is insane !

I find myself buying more classics.

I also find myself getting more at a discount. I never buy retail and hardly ever get anything week one unless it's under $15.

I do get a few steels. Cause I like the movie. No other reason. Plus if I decide to sell.. easy sell in most cases.

My most recent purchase is the Cleopatra Digi that I hope to get this week off a boardie and 3d Hobbit steel from another boardie. Just not going crazy unless they are cheap.

I'm like that now too. I'll get old movies if they are cheap. And of course I'll get the super silly dumb action movies or great ones like the Marvels and Man of Steel. :lecture:exactly:

Still gotta make use of my surround system. :)

re: (galactiboy's Cantina) "Where everybody knows your name..."

I noticed that, and considered going, but the running time of over five hours kept me away...

Guy said no box, so all loose but complete... I'm conflicted now :( !

Like a girl that you've just started dating but don't quite like, HOLD OUT FOR THE BOX!

About to watch a movie! :rock
:lol:lol

Maybe 3 or 4 today. I gotta catch up.

No more buying random movies and collector sets and steels and stuff.
I have 500+ movies that I own that I've never seen. :(

Damn boy! I'm bad with buying movies and watching but not THAT bad.

I know I'm not as bad as some of the people on the board. I'll not name names, but I think we know who they are. :lol:wink1:

re: (galactiboy's Cantina) "Where everybody knows your name..."

I'm kinda bad about it, but I don't have that many, and I tend to bargain shop. Plus I don't collect Blu-Ray at all. Not counting the occasional Criterion Collection, DVD's are wicked cheap.

I noticed that, and considered going, but the running time of over five hours kept me away...

Aw, don't be such a skirt. It's five hours of Elizabeth Taylor at her finest.

That just made me think that Angelina Jolie may well not be reprising the role now that she's had surgery. Given an able writer and director, she would have rocked it. :(

re: (galactiboy's Cantina) "Where everybody knows your name..."

No I work. :(

I really wanted to see that and Raiders and ET since I never saw those in theaters.

But stupid work gets in the way.

Really, but there's a 2 and a 7 showing. And I noticed for Spielberg month, they added showings on Sundays. Would Sunday work?

At first I thought you were razzing me for being unemployed. :lol

Well, I'm gonna buy the four film pass when I go tomorrow! :pfft:

All, that's 100%, ticket sales for Schindler's List go to charity! :D

I saw that for Schindler's. That is so cool!! I wish the movies were on Tuesday night. That would be ideal for me since I always have Tuesdays off. I think I will watch the one this Sunday since it's Raiders.

MC why don't you go to the Cinemark in Somerdale?

re: (galactiboy's Cantina) "Where everybody knows your name..."

I would love to see Jaws on the big screen, but I'll be traveling back from California then. I do plan on seeing Raiders next week.

Raiders looks amazing ! I loved seeing it again on the big screen. Saw it that week it was in IMAX and it looked and sounded incredible. I felt like a kid again!
