Re: (FLOSI'S Cantina) aka "Where everybody knows your name..."

Posters are classier but I'd go with a better poster. Style D aka the Struzan circus poster.

Re: (FLOSI'S Cantina) aka "Where everybody knows your name..."

They just seem like they would be a pain to get autographed without getting bent up in the process. Still contemplating what to do for CVI if I go the autograph route.

Deak - definitely a good one! Style D for ANH is one that's on my list, along with the Style A for ESB.

Waller - When I was chasing sports auto's, I used a cardboard backer. You just need to watch out for people with drinks or food, though. :lol

Well, monetary-wise the original original is a bit out of reach, but if that's what the cool cats do, I may have to sell some liquids or something. :lol:monkey2

Gibby juice...ask for it by name. :monkey3:rotfl

Re: (FLOSI'S Cantina) aka "Where everybody knows your name..."

Trust me that is one boring-ass drive; I did an internship in Michigan so I had to make that drive a few times.

And no offense; but Illinois is one of the most bland states to drive through :lol Oklahoma is not much better, but at least you can go faster to get it over with.

Yeah, the state is mostly cornfields. I live in a more built up area next to Six Flags, so it's not so rural, but still boring.

Still have not gotten Dewback. Perhaps I never will.

Good morning boys and girl(s), thought I'd share some Joe Johnston goodness. :wave

Re: (FLOSI'S Cantina) aka "Where everybody knows your name..."

An animated (NOT CW) special would be cool but not a movie. Although I think I just described the Holiday Special. Look as much as I LOVE Fett's design I don't need to know the ins and outs of what is essentially a plot device. Remember when Boba Fett had some mystery to him? Before he was Australian? :wink1:

Re: (FLOSI'S Cantina) aka "Where everybody knows your name..."

Ugh, nothing good could come of that.

But, admittedly I'd probably still go see it :lol

Re: (FLOSI'S Cantina) aka "Where everybody knows your name..."

Oh hell yes... I'd be first in line. While not a big fan of Joe Johnston I'd love to see something OT-ish... hell, have him direct a Boba Fett episode for the live-action stuff that we may never see. That will work.

Re: (FLOSI'S Cantina) aka "Where everybody knows your name..."

Yeah, something like this would work well for a live action series... not so much for a feature film.

I know it will probably never happen, but I'd still love to see (as long as it did not suck balls) and 3rd/sequel trilogy. But something just based off of a single cool (yet way over-hyped) character would not be my ideal :lol

Re: (FLOSI'S Cantina) aka "Where everybody knows your name..."

A Boba Fett movie where he's the "hero" would most likely be utterly stupid.

A "hunted" movie where he's the bad guy and after someone or some people in a Terminator-style adventure could be totally badass though.

Re: (FLOSI'S Cantina) aka "Where everybody knows your name..."

Agree... I in no way want to see Boba Fett as the hero of a film... Lucas already made him a sympathetic figure in the PT, which really ruined the character. Not to mention taking away any and all mystery behind him...

Re: (FLOSI'S Cantina) aka "Where everybody knows your name..."

Yeah. He would need to stay in his menacing suit the whole time and only have a few lines. So maybe a SW "Predator" movie would be a better analogy than Terminator.

He could be picking off a group of people one by one on some nasty planet. Nothing original but the only way I could see it happening and actually being cool.

Re: (FLOSI'S Cantina) aka "Where everybody knows your name..."

Boba was just some dude who answered the Empire's call. That's all I need to know about him.

The OT was steeped in mystery whereas everything was spelled out in the PT.

Re: (FLOSI'S Cantina) aka "Where everybody knows your name..."

mace windu rapiered boba fetts childhood.........:panic:

Re: (FLOSI'S Cantina) aka "Where everybody knows your name..."

A Boba Fett Movie done by Joe Johnston would be all-in win.

But it is one those "too-good-to-be-true" ideas and it will never happen.

And I would absolutely want it to be an epic, all-out, head-on train collision between Fett and the Han Solo/Chewbacca team.
