Honestly, I'm torn on this one. A part of me was hoping that Sideshow would stay away from TFU and the new Clone Wars Animated Series, but I do understand that there are a lot of EU fans out there. So, I guess this figure is great for them. Another part of me is glad that Sideshow is turning out so many figures regardless of whether they are PT, OT, or EU. I just hope they don't overkill the line. With the economy as bad as it is (and most say it will get worse before it gets better), I'm concerned folks are going to start being more selective than before. I know I need to. I have been a completist (I have all the exclusives) since the line began and with the state of the economy now, I'm thinking I need to really start being selective. Also, I really hope they don't overkill the armor. This seems more like a SDCC exclusive or something. I really would have preferred a Sandtrooper, 501st Trooper or Clone Commander over this figure, but I guess it is probably now or never for this figure since the game has been out for a while now. Guess I'm just old school or just old, but I prefer my Stormtroopers to be white. I'm sure the completist in me will win and I'll order it, but I'm not thrilled about it. For me, the price and estimated ship date will play a part in whether or not I order this one.

At least space out the armored characters more. Or a more interesting choice like Cody to go with Kenobi and Utapau trooper. We're getting FU Trooper, yet no Lando, no Dooku, no Tarkin......

I've just started the game, but I already think the story, dialogue and characters in the cut scenes are more interesting than the recent Clone Wars movie.

I have no problem with this figure as a game design, just that they had to reach into the EU for a quicky repaint. Where's the Sandtrooper if we have to have a repurposing of parts so soon?

Never heard that term before, interesting read, but seeing Fonzi in shorts...

At any rate, I don't really see how they've gone off track as they're still producing Star Wars characters. It's wrong to expect them to just cater to the OT fans and not ALL the SW/EU/TFU fans. It's not like they're producing 12" renditions from the Ewok Adventures. God forbid we ever see that day.

I think that's a cheap shot at the Utapau, which didn't even appear in the game. So if that's the case, he's spewing rhea entirely irrelevant to anything here.

I just don't understand the difference between a video game helmet and a SS helmet. SS is making both troopers, both helmets are from the same mold, that damn guy is giving me a headache.

I know. And considering the helmet in the game is the OT helmet, and there were no complaints, he clearly doesn't know what he's talking about. But don't worry. Someone told me something once, that actually makes sense. Life is hard right? Imagine how hard it is for stupid people. And right now, someone must be having a REAAAAAAAAAAAAAAALLY hard life.
