Well I think it's to say I have won yet another Fantasy Freaks Championship. I wanted to say thanks to P!tu for giving me a run for my money in the finals, I was sweatin' for like 5 minutes there, and a big shout out to Meathooks for being an exceptional commish and putting together a phenomenal basketball league.

I will forward to defending my football, and now basketball, championship next season and will take great pleasure in whipping some butts on the way to my 3rd Freaks championship in the official Freaks baseball league as well!

I always seem to do great until the playoffs then my teams go in the tank... EVERY DANG TIME.

And sorry about all the transaction limit BS I was spouting before... I realized I was sounding like an *** so I'll put it behind me and hopefully every one else is willing too as well. Lets move on to baseball.

Yeah I felt for you, especially Wade. I saw the Heat were resting all their big guns down the stretch..I would've been toast if Durant hadn't played. You had the best team all year (and a stellar draft) and I thought for sure you were gonna whip me in the finals.

That's why head to head kind of sucks in basketball because in football, guys will for the most part, play every week but in basketball, during our playoffs, the last month of the season is like week 17 in football. All the injuries and dnp's cost me a championship in one of my other leagues and I was dominating all year.

But yeah, glad basketball is over and on to baseball now...good luck

Congratulations to jstep13 for winning this years Freaks Fantasy Basketball Championship. Must also mention the strong play of P!tu, where the categories were tied this week for a long time, it was a fight right down to the end. As I've said before and within the league, I'm very proud of the teams involved, who fought hard and kept things close all season long. Thanks to all who participated and for those who didn't this season, there is always next season to jump in and join up.

Good luck to everyone in the baseball league.

Speaking of the baseball league, if anyone has any questions about how the baseball league functions or how to do certain things within the system, i.e. the basics, it would probably be a good idea to post your questions here in this thread and hopefully a veteran player or two can help you out.

American Freaks Conference has been renewed and everyone who played last season should get an invite tonight. I have altered the starting roster to make it 2 WR and 2 Utility players (WR,RB,TE) and have added 2 defensive players for the fun of it. I left them just generic D so you can pic anyone but I can also make them specific if you like... everything is open for change since we have lots of time.

I'm down. My team sucked last year. I had some bad picks. Stafford was a Bust, basically killed my season. I'm bringing it this time.

I messed up on the Baskekball League to. I didn't know you can change your players day to day. I thought it was like football and your team was set for the week. That cost me alot of games. Figured it out to late.

All the scoring is just the Yahoo default… I didn’t change anything but we can alter it any way we want I don’t really care. I’ll see about adding playoff teams, I’m not sure what I will be able to do with the 3 divisions but I’ll check it out… we could also add 4 more teams and make it 4 divisions of 4 teams if we want (or get rid of the divisions all together.) And the draft can be any time, I just had to pick a day in order to get the league set up but it can be changed as well. Once everyone is signed up I’ll ask and see what changes everyone is happy with and we’ll go from there.


Hey Meat, if you are going to start a 2nd league would you consider doing a keeper league? I have never done one of those before and it would be interesting to try one.

If I can make one suggestion for either commishs to ponder is to possibly reserve a playoff spot or two for teams that score the most points that do not win their respective division or who do not qualify because of their records.

It's very frustrating to score a **** ton of points just to have bad matchups prevent you from making the playoffs while teams who aren't nearly as talented qualify because of a weak strength of schedule.

That's my only gripe....
