It hasn't affected me yet. I played in a baseball league one year with unlimited transactions and one guy had around 140. When they asked about playing the next season I said only if they put in a limit... now its set at 60. Just seems like cheating to me but what the hell ever. I don't give a rats behind about basketball anyway so the fact that I only have 4 moves and I am in first place is pretty darn funny.

Well, the team you're playing against is one of the managers you called out so I would say it is affecting you this week.

But explain how it's cheating? There are gonna be weeks where teams have a numbers advantage because more nba teams play than others in certain weeks, not counting injuries. That's the nature of head to head. It's just a different strategy that can also backfire in some cases so it's pretty far from cheating. You can also implore the same strategy if you so desire. Some do, some don't. But if you insist on limits, put in a transaction limit or play roto. Besides, if you really "don't care" seems silly to get upset over a free league that's "for fun".

Regardless I think it's pretty damn funny you're complaining about rules you set as commish

Looks like baseball is kind of a bust since we only have 8 teams. I guess we'll go ahead the best we can but won't be nearly as fun with fewer teams since everyone will be loaded with stars. I'll just make it 2 - 4 team divisions to make things a little more fair.

Well Meathook did make it friendly for new comers and for that i am very grateful cause now i know how to play the game and will enjoy it from now on. Thanks to everyone in this thread actually i am able to play Fantasy Football & Basketball! which is freaking awesome!!! Cant wait for Football to start again!!!

My experience with fantasy is that "transaction caps" are typically a form of advanced strategy for more veteran players. If I set up a transaction cap with the basketball league ( I'm the commish, if anyone is still counting here) a newer player would not have the previous experience to see how injuries and wanting to test out rookies dramatically shift playing rotations. Or they might have never experience before having that trade deadline pass open up new rotations and sometimes devalue some guys. There's a reason I added a Utility slot and an extra Bench slot over standard and eliminated Turnovers from the standard Category metrics. These changes were designed to help new players assimilate to the game better and faster...............
