probably one of the best vampire movies ever made. And probably the closest vampire movie to the real, old legends of vampires people used to have. That's what I like the most, that's how people thought of vampires hundreds of years ago around the world

I do like 30 Days of Night. I watched From Dusk Till Dawn this week, you couldn't get two different vampire movies. :lol

Is the TV series any good?

horrible, truly truly bad... they basically remade the first movie but extended it 12 hours and added all this weird stuff about the mexico cartel being vampires and the salma hyek character being a misunderstood victim...... (turned against her will or some crap) added all this unnecessary mythology and backstory....
every scene you loved about the movie is turned into this corny "soap opera" like scenes with really bad acting... probably the worst remake ive ever seen :lol:lol

OK. :lol The movie works well over the space of 2 hours.

I agree. 30 Days of Night is one of my favorite vampire movies during this time of year! :yess:

Did y'all enjoy the NBC series Dracula? There was only one season (a few years ago). It had a romantic, yet brutal take on vampirism. I really liked it.

That's of the blu rays I bought but haven't watched yet. Thanks for the reminder. :slap

I liked it but knew it was going to get cancelled. That late Friday night time slot kills every new show that's placed there.

Actually, I have an avatar that isn't being used by anybody. I made it for myself a while back, but I only used it one year. It isn't as personal as the avatars that I did for the others, but I would definitely be up for you taking ownership of it. It is a Thanos avatar.

I'd be honored kind sir! :clap

Halloween???? Hell everything around here already has Christmas stuff out. Talk about a Buzzkill!!

Oh man! Buzzkill indeed! That blows!

Where I live, we thrive on the Halloween season.
The neighborhood comes to life every night with lights, props, fog, and on Halloween night our streets are jam packed with people, so much so that cars can no longer pass. :rock
