in regards to guys giving such big prizes, the only person who has ever come through is Chien. I'm glad he stopped as it got real crazy and a lot of people were ungrateful it seemed.

Chien (UT Toy Fan for those who don't know) was an amazing contest giver and prize shipper.

I won a contest of his and he got me the Shaak Ti Premium Format Figure...an amazing guy!

Remember, Mort is copyrighted material, we can't have anyone making and selling their own thing of it.

I get away with the patches because I don't charge anything (not even shipping), and I've given one of every one I've had made to Dennis and Susan, which hopefully would help if someone in Sideshow legal decided to come after me.

I won banthafett's SAMHAIN contest on the IRC chat last year. My prize (picked bu his son from a short list of wants I provided) was the Luke Skywalker Rogue Squadron Snowspeeder Pilot. I was going to order it, but since I won it I didn't.

Well, it started shipping and by the time I figured out I hadn't gotten it, and banthafett didn't respond to messages about it, it was sold out so I couldn't get it myself.

So, I'm screwed out of that figure being in my collection.

Yea. I personally refuse to sell stuff I didn't come up with on my own. I'm hoping someone here has the talent to do a 3d model that I could print then make a mold from, and from there I'd just give away castings in contests and such. It's a huge no-no for me to sell stuff that isn't my original idea though.
