I only assumed because of your proximity to Silent. Also, Silent immediately comes to mind because of his frequency of posts and closeness to the board. Either way, I do not doubt it will look outstanding. I just want to see more pictures of this bust.

I'm sorry to say guys but silentsurfer is not the only person that paints around here!

Jed gave me the bust to paint....

oh and btw I have been a Freelance Painter for Sideshow for over 4 years now....

Mike N.

It's weird how people around here straight away assume that Silent is painting custom stuff.

I have never even spoken to Silent before and nope I did not go to him.

Mr. Najera is painting mine

AWESOME PICS!!!!

Give us a review. What's your first impression?

The bust came with a solid package and COA from Fred. The paint job is the best in the league. It looks exactly like the one in promo shot(no lighter or darker in terms of the tone of the colorS). If the IM bust is a 3, this bust is a solid 9. Consider the condition of the original Robo suit is, Fred did his best to replicate and refine the suit for the bust. With that in mind, there will some "traces" on the bust, but once most of us seeing the production piece in person.

We've all seen the pics from SDCC. The paint issues around the mouth and chin guard area does show on mine, however, as you can from my pics. It's acceptable and since I'll be repainting it, so for me, it's not a big deal. It does not come with the unpainted bottom, it came with a nicely painted matte black and the L-bracket that some fellow collector noticed and felt cheap was never an issue for me.

Overall, it's a kick ass Robocop piece. I can not wait for the 1/4 ED, Cain and full size versions!!

This is probably one of the nicest collectibles i've ever seen and I haven't even seen this thing in person. I almost never nitpick but damn that signature/serial number is distracting. Imo it looks like some kid in Jr. High signed it. A smaller marker would have been better or even not signing the actual piece would have been better too. Also a stamped serial number would have looked better.

Good thing I don't display it from the back. :lol

Awesome pics!
I look forward to receiving mine.
I'm glad the head moves, I need my busts looking to the left.

Well, the head is not poseable. It's a tweak to my own liking. Not hard to do but it can easily crack the casting if not done carefully.

WOW WOW WOW!!! Talk about some amazing pics!! Congrats man. I absolutely cannot wait to get mine now.

So, you tweaked the bust so that he is looked straight?

Thanks, R. Yes, I tweaked it but that was just for the pics, I won't display him looking straight like that. The open mouth look immediately renders him like a retard sans drool. A bit to left or right are the best looks plus a bit more displaying options.

Though it looks fine from this angel.
