I've been restoring pieces (mostly dragons) for around 8 years. You see my Aayla Secura up top on this page, she had some fingers broken off on the out stretched hand. I glued them, then covered the cracks with Apoxy sculpt, then sanded it down so it flows with the hand.

I then had to repaint some fingers and part of the hand where the paint was taken off during my sanding.

Doing this kind of stuff I'm used to. It's hard matching paint a lot of the time. Painting faces, not so used to that.
She took me around 3 or 4 hours. I think that's a long time for someone who does this kind of thing often.

Wow! 8 years is enough experience. No wonder it looks so good even if you are not used to painting faces. You should start making your own custom statues and sell it. Or maybe take orders for customizing existing statues.

If I ever wanted to customize a piece for myself, I'd do it. For other people, there's a lot of much better people out there for that but thanks. :)

Your collection is OFF THE PLANET!!!!! I've never seen such a huge, diverse, collection! Insanely cool.

Congrats! :panic:

PS: I must be in the wrong line of work...may I ask what you do for a living?

Thanks Mandible. I've been collecting for a lot of years so maybe that's why it seems like so much.

It does add up quickly money wise.

I apply for credit for a living.
I'm kidding of course.
I'm a software developer.

Great collection. What have you done to General Grievous' arms? Looks cool ;)

That Grievous used to belong to a friend of mine (the guy that does all of Greatwalls' custom hulks etc)
He dropped it. I broke into a million pieces so when he put it back together he did it like this to save on shelf space.
Sold it to me for $100. Can't even tell it was ever broken.

Wow. Thanks everyone. :)

Draval, I think SS Hulk maybe the only avenger I don't end up getting.
