I'd be ... surprised if they shipped that. I don't think they'll touch the sculpt but I assume they'll make some improvements on the body.

Like the Death Star Trooper, this looks like a proto that HT made a long, long time ago. Looks like a figure from 2017.

I ordered it yesterday, just gotta hope they fix it up. I would’ve ordered a second if it looked any good. Looks like Sy Snootles in a TFP outfit.

It looks like a cartoon helmet. There are tons of pictures of screen used TIE Pilot helmets out there, this looks bad. Overall the Sideshow TIE Pilot figure or the Marmit and even the Medicom looks much better than HT's attempt. At this time and age Hot Toys could do so much better, but they show us a mediocre figure.

It's not the size of the helmet, it's the sculpt that's bugging me. At first glance it looks elongated, which would be par for the course for Hot Toys.

It looks like a TIE helmet for coneheads. The fact that is big, does not bother me, the inaccurate sculpt does.

They were, but just in cockpit shots with Rogue One helmets (gray stripes).

Again, I just don’t understand why Hot Toys don’t nail these things. This isn’t even a human likeness where it can become very subjective. This is a tangible helmet design….
