I got mine today, and echo others saying that this is a very nice, quality piece. The paint apps are very good on the heads, and actually look better on his hands than had appeared in pics here (maybe it's just mine, though). Much better detail on the flesh paint than on Raiders Indy or Thor. Imposing, size-wise. Just a very nice piece.

The outdoor shots are nice. On another note, I agree with others about the ex. hands being less good than the regular ones. They look awkward in a bad way. I think I would prefer it if you could take the axe out of the left hand and just have a fist with the machete. Ex. head is awesome, though like most others, I have no real intention of displaying him that way.

Same here. I get a heart attack when guests at my house just LOOK at my collectibles because I know in about 15 seconds one of them is going to reach out their arms and try and touch them and THAT is a no no in my house. No one touches my collectibles or they die.

Great shots, but how dirty is the bottom of that base now?

Well I just got back from my friends and saw Jason Ex first hand. Here are my thoughts, not that they matter.


1. I love the head with mask and mask Sculpt. It looks great. I love how deep set Jason's eyes are. Really top notch. No question we are looking at a part 3 jason.

2. Exclusive head sculpt looks awsome in person. Really so much better then any of the photos I have seen and I hav seen some good photos.

3. I love the size. He is a big boy and demands to be noticed

4. The paint job on his head is TOP NOTCH!!!!!

Now What I did not like

1. The overall pose. I don't like his leg stance. It's awkward. Almost like he is leaning back. He needs to be tilted foward just a bit. I still don't like the tilt of the neck. it looks good from some angles but not all.

2. The shirt he wears seems to small. It just does not fit right or hang well.

3. He seems to be missing his hump (best seen in part 3 after shooting the girl in the eye with the harpoon gun and he turns around, walks to the house and looks up) perhaps not a big deal to some that it's missing or seems to be missing but I love that about the part 3 jason.

4. Another shirt issue - Has this been mentioned?? It's so damn brown!!! Jason's shirt in part 3 is not brown in any way. It's like a green/grey color.

Now I see some photos online that look at little less brown but I got to assume that it's the lighting. I mean My friends Jason's shirt is BROWN!!!



I also looked at the blu ray again just to make sure and it's got that green/grey look. Now I am not saying this will be a huge deal to every or anyone. i just thought the brown made it look off and dare I say....To Brown.


Please understand I am not saying this is a bad statue that can't overcome it's faults. It can. Seeing how most people who have recieved it are happy I would say this is a winner so Please don't take this mini review as an attack. Overall it's a pretty darn good statue. My friend is happy with it. If this came out five years ago I would have been all over it but my Jason fandom has lessened over the years.

As someone mentioned Im going to try and figure out a way to display it as a small bust, next to the PF. The unboxing was just as fun as actually handling the piece. I snapped a few shots, but inside my place, not about to take him outside, again as others mentioned my ocd issues wont allow that I dont have the greatest set up for my figures at the moment, looking into getting some nicer shelves, but until then I leave everyone on there boxes.

We haven't had a lot of rain here lately so everything is pretty dry. After a "once over" with some compressed air, the bottom of the base still looks new.

And I absolutely love your custom ax wound, SS. That is ____ing epic.

Not to the shirt. I processed the photo with HDR software and I believe it just enhanced the wrinkle detailing.
