Awesome pics guys! I'm scheduled to get them today through UPS but for some reason sideshow included the "21+ must sign" when they are delivered. So I'll probably have to pick them up after work tomorrow. Lame.

First Impression

Wow. Wow wow wow. He is definitely one of my favorite figures ever. You open the flaps and see him there and you know this is gonna be a great figure. He's got tons of stuff, it looks great--so much to explore with this guy! Everything looks great. Let's get into the details, shall we?

Packaging

Thank you, Sideshow, for the little boxes. Not only will they ease some of the GRIEF you inflict upon our international brethren, but they also emphasis just how unique and innovative these figures are. The writing is typical of the LOTR line, and give lots of fun little blurbs about this and that. The art is absolutely beautiful, but then that's how the 1:6 line is. The velcro works perfectly this time--it seems Sideshow has finally got it down. But remember--Faramir was the first to master that.

I ordered the two of them with the special double order that they only had during the initial pre-ordering process, so they both came in their own brown boxes which were in turn shipped in a big brown box--VERY safe. It's a little weird to pull him out wearing double capes--mind you, oh reader, you shouldn't display him with both, because that's just being silly. Unless you are, in fact, silly.

There's only one thing wrong with the entire packaged deal. TWISTIES!!! Why oh why? It's like we've regressed back into the stone age! Who are we, Mattel? Fortunately, there are only two, and they're only used to hold down the stand. Still . . .
