Oh, I thought you meant a LOTR thread in the Art Forum :lol

Maybe I shouldn't take LOTR pictures, I might uncage the beast if I do that :lol

I always find it amusing when I hear someone attempting to define something as broad as "art" for all people through all times. With any luck my brain doesn't glaze over halfway through the post.

I love this body!! Here are really quick, really bad pix. Not to show off the figure, rather the articulation of the body! I love it.

Its interesting that due to Hobbits not wearing boots they are some of the only figures that enjoy the benefit of ankle/foot articulation.

The only ^^^^ty thing is that the ankle joints are too loose to hold the poses for too long.

The more I futz with the figure the more I realize just how loose many of the joints are. By far one of the worst figures I have gotten from SS(or HT or Medi) as far loose joints go. The only one that is comparative to Frodo is Pamela Voorhees.

Guys, take it easy on Cap'n F. Which is more valuable to the forum - thoughtful, funny reviews or reply posts consisting of nothing but :lol? You be the judge.

I hadn't noticed until Cap pointed it out, but the paint ops are HT style, rather than SSC. They cast it in the natural plastic rather than painting the whole thing. This has worked marvelously for most HT figures and I think it's successful here to - I don't think they're too pale at all.

True... Cap is good people, just ribbing him a bit. :monkey3

But I agree with the skin issue, very effective indeed. :rock

Oh, we all love Cap, but we also have to give him ^^^^ when he gets too wordy... but thats what makes him who he is :duff

I'm just thankful it's Cap and not a verbose newbie who decided to share for the first time. Even though it may be gentle ribbing - it could stop people from taking the time to make thoughtful posts.

And lord knows - we need more THOUGHTFUL posts here.

I agree with doube D.

Thanks for the thoughtful review Capt. Faramir :)

Kaps kool, even an honorary Krusader, and by that he is a target for our ribbing. He gives me ^^^^ all the time about my bad spelling, and so we must give him ^^^^ for his, however informative, mind numbingly long posts.

if you read just the first sentence in each paragraph it sums his thoughts up pretty well.

can't wait to have these guys in-hand! i can only hope they deliver when I'm home so I can sign for them or i'll have to wait until monday.
