You told Josh to get to work... I was putting the whip to him.. you know... to be.... erm, funny.... erm.... yeah.., so anyway...

I get Frodo today! :blissy

I can't wait to photograph these now that I know there's really something good their to work with. Tim Miller rocked these out :rock

First impression:

Best Sideshow figure I have every received. I would almost say I am more impressed wuth Frodo than I was with HT 2 in 1 Supes.

Paint job is AWESOME!.. the clothes are tailored to perfection... accessories are nicely detailed... The hands and body are definitely HT style... and the back back has wires in the shoulder straps...

This is a 9.5/10 figure for me.

Frodo's overcoat is a wonder... the detail in the pattern (I think its herringbone?) is very impressive.

:rock :rock :rock

I only have a few nit picks. As I mentioned before, the seam in the right shin is a bit split... I hope this doesn't become an issue down the road. The joints are a bit loose, and Frodo's grasping sword hand doesn't hold Sting tightly.. at all.. in fact it kind flops around in his hand... So you will need to futz with him a bit...

I amend my score to 9/10.

But it is still an awesome figure and so far my favorite from Sideshow. :clap

Semi-loose on mine... he still stands fine on his own... but I wouldn't trust to pose him without the stand. One little bump and he would fall... no doubt.

Ok, so strong enough I'll be able to photograph him without the need for a stand but on permanent display he'll need some help. Thanks Marc.

Speaking of stands, does he come with the standard SSC stand with a shorter support post or is the whole thing scaled down?
