The height is great. I know we were concerned that the hobbits head would come to a 12 inch figure's shoulders (too high for a hobbit) but the pics that were posted in this thread are accurate. He is about 7 1/2 inches tall... leaving room for a 9 inch Gimli. So scale shouldn't be an issue for the future of this line.

Height looks fine, could be shorter but what it is doesn't kill the effect, they are clearly little people in comparison and that's what matters most.

I'm expecting to get the duo on Thursday. I was thinking about sending them back and dropping LOTR alltogether, but based on your review Pix, I maybe rethinking that. Can't wait to see more photos.
