Divisive people say it was because I'm atheist, but they're wrong, and are clearly just looking for another excuse to bomb Atheistland.

Not a fan of people spouting off about atrocities done in the name of one particular religion while ignoring atrocities done in the name of other religions because they're frightened about what's to come?

I don't hate Islam. I do hate the growing number of Muslims that believe their religion justifies acts such as these. Not the religion; the people.

Whether they decide to drive an SUV through a crowded campus, or execute their daughters, or whatever. I hate them and whatever reasoning brought them to take action. If that so happens to be undiluted Islam, wife beatings, infidel subordinating, and all, then so be it.

I didn't write the damned book.

and just where does islam getting that never ending flow of virgins? maybe they are the unborn fetuses that americans like to abort.

and exactly what atrocities by other religions am i ignoring? the spanish inquisition or something else that happened 800 years ago?

This is the correct answer but it means nothing to the ingnorant mind.

religion is not evil, but if the majority of the good people in a religion can't prevent the supposed minority of a religion from repeatedly using that religion for evil, then I got no respect for that religion.

I disagree with the first statement. That's a smear. No one is saying that Islam is a serial killer's handbook.

With the second, what is it about religion that permits it to be so easily employed to evil ends? Because it has a fairly abyssmal track record. Not all of it, but I can think of two in particular that get fairly high marks for their body counts.

Sometimes a crazy person can use religion as a justification for killing. Othertimes its flat out preached by religious leaders. Theres a big difference between those 2.

The frequency of Islamic killings combined with the knowledge that many powerful clerics are preaching murder is scary to me. I can't speak for anything in the past but I haven't seen many news stories of Christians, Buddhists, Scientologists or whatever making suicide bombings a frequent occurence.
