G.I. Joe (Real American Hero..yanno vs. COBRA?) has always been a favorite of mine since I was kid and the newer figures that came out several years ago got me back into toy collecting. For those that might be familiar with it and what has been going on, you know that they've been "on hiatus".

Well with this year being the Real American Heroes' 25th anniversary, Hasbro will be releasing 25 figures of popular GI Joe and Cobra characters in their "definitive" outfits.

Thus far they've shown Storm Shadow, Duke, and Scarlett

Any other Joe fans here?

Yo freakin' Joe! now i can get a stormshadow that has thumbs since the one i had when i was a kid had his thumbs break off....in an epic battle with snake eyes!

although after looking at the site you provided i'm not too thrilled with their jointing of the figures.

I remember getting completely sucked into G.I. Joe as a kid. These may be hard to resist because they seem to be sweet updates of the figures from when we were collecting Joes.

I've always been a big Cobra Commander fan. I've picked up just about every variant of him in recent years besides the Sigma Six stuff. I can't wait to see what his figure is going to look like. Wonder if it will be hooded or mirror faced/helmeted? Would be nice if it was just interchangable heads (or removable and a first time ever glimpse of CC's face!).

Some angel must have called Hasbro to repentance this year, because between these figures and the new Star Wars waves, this is turning out to be the most incredible line of action figures I've ever seen. This figures are absolutely gorgeous. I will definitely be getting them all! I'm glad you posted this, thanks. I didn't have a clue this was going on, and now I know.

And knowing is half the battle!

Thoes are the nicest G.I joe figures I've seen in a long time. I'll get them I've always been a big G.I joe fan since I was a kid. My old G.I joes have since been destroyed in various ways.

Bah!!! These aren't G.I. Joe!!! When I was a kid, we played with the real thing! 12" G. I. Joes are the only REAL Joes!!!! :rotfl To this day, I think the invention of the 3 3/4" figure was a travesty!!!

there were 12" gi joes? did they come with muskets? :)

Don't be silly. Muskets hadn't been invented yet.

In all seriousness, I like the 12" figures a lot, but I was born into the 3 3/4" scale. Always one of my favorite toys.

That's ok--thanks to Sideshow, all of my favorite figures are in the 1/6 scale. Maybe someday Sideshow will do 12" G. I. Joe figures (after they pry the license out of Hasbro's cold dead hands)..........

I'm all over these guys as I was a huge Real American Hero kid in the 80's. Got the Steel Brigade figure of myself and everything. These look fun though, similar enough to the original (still the best) but updated with new sculpting methods. Count me in. Yo Joe!:D

25 years ?!?!?!?

Damn I'm old.

I still have every single figure/vehicle/base my parents ever bought me. A couple years ago I split them up into keep and sell boxes yet they're all still stacked in the same place.
