Galactus LSB

This is the only Marvel piece I've ever ordered from Sideshow (sure wish I'd ordered the Doom PF) but its one I'll gladly own and could make for a great stand-alone item.

Would have been awesome if he lit-up though, but can't have everything.

I'm not a huge Galactus fan, but this LSB may be too much to resist. I also like the Silver Surfer accessory and that he isn't part of an exclusive nameplate. I don't like to snag the nameplates, so this is a very pleasant surprise.

Name plates from LSBs are a great way to label a collection of a specific character beyond the bust itself. That being said, who has an extensive Galactus collection?

I agree. A nameplate for Galactus isn't as important as a nameplate for Hulk, Cap, Daredevil, or Thor.

so to put this big boy into perspective, the surfer is going to be the same hieght as most of the other lsb's right??
if so this is really going to be a big sucker and once people realize that and don't have anyway to properly display him, we'll see cancellations. along with that when the hype dies off (btw great job ssc) people will cancel this for more desirable pieces by the time this is released.

i'm even having second thoughts already about the size of this sucker, now if i collected 1:1's this might be a great fit for them also. so maybe we've got a crossover piece here.

Light up feature would've knocked this already spectacular piece out of this world!

I wouldn't say "more desirable", more like "as desirable".

I have never wanted a bust until I layed my eyes on this one.

The large size did it for me, now I feel like i'm getting my money's worth during these difficult times.

na, the hell with it i still want this, i just looked at it again, and the bust and miny surfer really work well together imo.

if this sucker is hollow i'm going to look at maybe doing a light up feature with a regular version.

^^^^, if I want him heavier, i'll stuff him full of socks filled with rocks!

Totally agree about doing a custom light up feature, that should be cool.

I'm placing a spinning disco ball inside his head!

Some might flame me for what i'm about to claim but I think he looks better than the Life Size IM bust!

Man, this just made me realize how SICK Galactus would be as an oversized PF, say like 32" to 42", same or bigger than the CM Predator!

based on pictures, Silver Surfer is going to be about 4 inches - FOUR inches...that's not a statue....

Then again...this is Galactus..not Silver Surfer
