I'm not taking it personally Bad Moon I am trying to make my point thats all, I have no issue with whether people make positive or negative comments but it seems that Kitfisto has, he's the one voicing his disapproval and calling other board members "complete tools" for saying how they feel, now thats getting personal towards others and I for one have never done that on here. I personally don't care what he says and I mean that in the nicest way because someone else's opinion is their business not mine but don't insult me for my opinion and expect me to say nothing about the hypocrisy of it all.

I see your point. However he didn't call you a "complete tool". He was refering to the people that leave smart ass comments with no reasoning to back it up. I myself have my own pet names for those types as well. I did notice that said post was directly after one of yours but I don't think he was referring to you directly. All is well.

You're either making this up as you go or not reading what I said. NOT ONCE have I said people can't have an opinion be it positive or negative. I said there is a better WAY to voice your negative opinion that "one up" smart ass remarks that add nothing to the topic and IMO cross the line. if you don't like the piece fine...Say so and voice what you see as flaws. My issue again is the smart ass comments that I would find insulting if I was the artist behind the piece. That's all I am saying.

Yep, it was aimed at people who IMO didn't know how to be constructive with their complaints. If you think it's fine to trash something with a bunch of "one up, trying to be funny" snotty comments then have ball. I think it's immature and ridiculous, but whatever.

Well we all better be more constructive or we'll have you to deal with by the looks of it!!! I say that lightheartedly too by the way, you see thats the thing about forum posting thats it sometimes hard to read what a person is really saying and the tone they mean it in, and often those little smily thingies just don't get it across. I like to joke and take the piss from time to time I see absolutely no harm in it and I certainly don't mean it harshly towards other board members or indeed the sculpting artists but alas a lot of whats said can be misconstrued. Anyway I'm waffling now so I'm going to bed!!

By the way this is the Galadriel post right? You know I did order this statue Kit so there's my proof that my slagging is not always that serious nor is it intended to be. I actually like this statue! (swimming cap hair and all!!ha ha!!) No seriously I like it a lot!!

For Kit my friend u quoted the above bold statement by myself as one of the uncalled for comments.

Firstly as u can see u took it out of context as u forgot to add the second sentence and it was a joke towards Cap as he was indeed sick at the time not the piece so if anyone should be offended it should be him but i think he was cool with it all.

Like i said it was meant to be a joke and if u could have seen my grin or felt my intention u most certainly wouldnt have quoted it.

The problem i see is simply just like email,forums etc in any written conversation u are unable to get a feel for the persons mood so it all comes down to how u interpret it.

Anyway the piece is good for what it is but i still dont see the likeness and thats just me so respect to all and your opinions and lets just try and chill with our fellow brother freaks.
