Galadriel PF

The more I look at Galadriel the more I am liking it particularly from those pics Carbo thanks. Its definitely going to be one of those statues that improves in real life!

Not too many people liked Gandalf until they got it in-hand. I think Galadriel will be the same way. I'm sure she'll be on display at SDCC. I look forward to seeing her in person at the show.

July 24-27. Preview night is the 23rd. This is my 3rd year going and it's a blast.

Yeah, I have to agree on the face... I personally don't see Cate at ALL in that sculpt. It's nice, and the costuming is fantastic... But I really don't see the actress at all. Sad too, because she was one of the hottest women in those films.

No way I'm ordering this direct. I'll wait to see it in person at SDCC before I make up my mind if I even want it at all.

I didn't like GTW PF one bit more after I saw it in person... By now I have a pretty good sense what an item actually will look like based on SS pics.

Given that, I like the Galadriel PF better than GTW, based on pose.

Galadriel is easily better than Gandalf! I have GtW and his sculpt is just atrocious. But I like the character too much to not have it my collection.

I gotta disagree with ya on GTW. The sculpt is anything but atrocious. The nose and hair could be small issues but the sculpt overall is damn nice. Atrocious?

WTF? Undo what they did? GTW overall is a very nice piece. I meant to cancel mine for $$ and space reasons but am very happy to have it. This is one of the nicest PF's I've seen.

I agree the Gandalf sculpt is really good. It is almost spot on McKellen for sure. The thing I really like is how the eyes and the bags underneath them look amazing. It is just that pose is a little crazy but the EX version makes it work. The pose for Galdariel though is a perfect pick.

Yeah, the pose kind of sucks for the regular look but if you've got the EX its a lot better. Now, is it a pose I'd have gone with? No, it isn't.

I am huge LOTR fan and also a big sideshow fan. GtW is a very nice figure overall, but the sculpt is just bad. I thought having it in person would change my opinions, but it hasn't. I am not going to get rid of it because as I mentioned already, I am very fond of the character. Galadriel's sculpt already looks to be much better than than of Gandalf.

Well, we'll have agree 2 disagree. The sculpt overall as I said 2 me is very nice. There's much bad about the piece overall.
