I'm with you dude, maybe it's from seeing many early so-so pics of SSC figures, but sometimes you can just fill in the blanks and see what you're getting. LOTS of detail not coming through in that photo, but even if it's the old style head, it'll still show. The photo looks promising to me, so it should only go uphill from here.

That's why I'm thinking the clear shots will look great, he looks alright with all the detail blurred out so far.

i'm guessing a lot of that beautiful detailing in the hair is going to be lost. that's a crying shame, since that's part of what made it such a beautiful figure to me.
