Gonna post a couple more pics to:

I installed another set of track lights. Overhead lighting makes all the diference with the hatless look, particularly around the eyes.

In addition to more futzing I made 2 slight modifications:

1) I stuffed his satchel with cotton. It looked silly to me all empty and flat.

2) I trimmed the sword belt. The length out of the box is absurdly long - it almost touches the stair. From watching some Moria scenes last night, it's still a bit too long, but I think it looks good now.



I'm gonna be doing more futzing before I'm totally happy with it, and then I'll post more pics.


I'm finding that photographing 1/4 scale is very different than 1/6 scale...

Open up where the batteries are there is a plastic tab in there to pull out.

Yeah it sucks, you gotta do the same thing with the Yoda Clone Trooper PF so I never turn it on.

This is for me the BEST PF SS have done so far!!
It's so iconic and as others have said on here once you sort out the clothing and get it right, this has a remarkable presence!
If I had the money I would be buying these as gifts for close friends it is such a brilliant representation of the legendary wizard!
I think this is the one that may become the grail of the PFs especially when The Hobbit comes out.

WoS how did you get on with customs? Thankfully charged 13.5% as usual.
