dunno if its just the flash but he looks pretty clean to me, i remember in the film hes pretty dirty in that scene. those mines aint clean

Funny as my wife said the same thing, "gandalf should have been standing on his chest stabbing away instead of hanging on"...... yes he is too simple and too clean, Gandalf is the eyesore on this piece, his overall look, sword looks like crap, most of all I HATE the way when connected to the Rog, it is VERY obvious where its connected to the Balrogs horn, very crappy craftsmanship on this, it like they didn’t even try to hide the seam, WTF???? Also very comical on the color mismatch of the flame whip and what’s painted on Gandalfs ankle, who’s is on charge of QC, Stevie Wonder, SS you hear of quality control??!!!!! Overall I give this a 5 of 10, not sure if I am going to keep this one, sad as it did have potential…....................
not to mention that where it attaches to gandalf, it's way to thick in proportion to the rest of the whip on gandalf's ankle. i believe it should of been alot thinner.
pretty much smack on what i felt after assembling my piece also.
definately not up ssc standards imo. also in regards to the very obvious horn/gandalf seam. i really wasn't to happy with the huge seams on the attachment of the wings either.
the whip is not only hard to attach to gandalf, but mine doesn't seem to fit completely into rog's hand either, the square part of the whip sits up slightly in his hand.
overall for me a 5 out of 10 is high maybe a 3-4 for me.
i'm most likely going to return mine, since it also has some slight damage to rog's body also. very sad, this piece has so much potential.
