we would be able to buy more of the things we want if we weren't pissing our money away on overpriced necessities. gas is at the root of all we buy. since most of us don't have unlimited funds, excuse us for realizing we're getting screwed. btw, high gas prices hurts our country because retail consumer spending drives our economy. the more money we put in the tank means more bucks in the pockets of the oil companies and less dollars in the hands of our retailers.

Don't be an ass. For real think about it this way. You actually know what a computer is. You even use it right? I know it seems like a dumb question but I have to make sure you understand. There are people in the world that can't even eat. Yet people get on here and act like their lives are over when they can't buy a toy. That is my only point. Gas prices suck but guess what? Are you going to change it? And if so I will treat you just like one of my employees. I always tell them if they don't like something please tell me. But, if you have a complaint then please come with a suggested solution. So I ask, what is you solution? I would also ask what are you doing to reach that goal?

Here is my final point and I know it is harsh and tough to swallow. While we argue about toys there are kids like this and parents that can't feed them.

Next time you ^^^^^ about gas think about what it must be like to be 3 years old and weigh 10 pounds and not have food. :lecture

as a taxpayer, i would want my tax dollars to help feed the hungry and shelter the homeless in america first, the rest of the world second. but my tax dollars are misappropriated, so why should the blame fall on us? we pay making it and we pay spending it.

now if the enormous bs taxes they add onto our gas prices fed the hungry, i wouldn't say a word. but profits have risen 400% for the oil companies with no real reason for the escalation, except greed. in this case, the government needs to step in unless they're ok with our economy ending up in the crapper. gas is not a luxury.

Karl Marx would applaud this thread.

Don't try and guilt-trip me because the Saudis are stubborn a-holes and the U.S. Oil execs are greedy MFers. Those are the only reasons why gas prices are the way they are right now... and consumers have every right to gripe about it. When I'm at the pump, it pisses me off to know that I'm being squeezed by some quadrillionaire sultans and domestic oil barrens. It's all relative.

(BTW, gas is about 60 cents USD a gallon in Saudi Arabia right now)

Is that profits, or profit margins? There's a difference.

see what you are saying but they are not toys they are collectables. i'm not going to spend three hundred dollars on a toy but i will spend it on a kick ass collectable. we talk alot of ^^^^ and sound like a broken records about this and that blah blah blah but at the end of the day we all continue to buy unnecesarry bull ^^^^. I buy what i want because i have the money to spend on it but if i had to make a choice, between feeding my family or buying a statue then the choice is bucking simple..........

What you are not understanding is that you are greedy. I am greedy. The whole damn world is greedy. Why? I will never know. I just know that I will never complain about the price of stuff I don't need when there are kids like this trying to survive. So I ask again why not contribute to a charity rather than buy toys? I will answer, it is because you WANT the toys. Which in my mind sucks but we all on here think that way. I do too! I am not denying that. However I will never ^^^^^ at a price of something knowing there are other things way more important. So the next time you complain about prices at leat be fortunate that you are still alive and made it past 5 years of age.

BadMoon, you better not ^^^^^ about ANYTHING in your life at all if you're going to play that card.

first off, don't name call. go disrespect someone else. second, the price of gas is beyond one person's control. yea, my suggestion to fix this problem is to have a corrupt free government that looks out for the people rather than special interest groups. the day that happens, forward my mail to fantasyland. your ultimatum for change has no solution. nice exercise in futility.

the oil companies have there claws deep in the white house, next time you see arnold or the president or who ever is running for office. fallow the money trail...........

So...does that mean profits, or profit margins?

Just because I can afford it doesn't mean I like throwing my money away. The reason I can in fact afford it is because I haven't thrown money away in the past.

Yeah that about sums it up.......... A bunch of lousy "Royal" ^^^^ leaders in Saudi Arabia and a few knuckleheads here in the States. Its sad but there really is no need to look any further..........

Its funny you'd think murdering hundreds of thousands of Iraqi's would actually lower the price of oil to N. America.

Honestly I don't ^^^^^ about anything as serious as this. Seriously Carl are you telling me that the cost of figures is more important than the cost of this child? Honestly I pay for the figures every time. I admit that. However, dare I ^^^^^ about the cost when there is ^^^^ like this in the world? Hell no!

You just proved my point my friend. You feel you are worthless and act accordingly. You sir :rock!

I will just add this... this thread is getting into dangerous territory... please stay on topic and refrain from any insults and name calling... and maybe it will still be here in the morning.
