Gas Prices

The price of gas has caused me to spend less on other stuff and drive less. There is a deli within walking distance at work so when I do want to go out for lunch I always walk there instead of driving soomewhere else. Also I have cut back on my "fun" spending just gettign things I REALLY like and not things that just might be kind of cool.

Maybe I'm assuming you know the difference. Do you? That's not a put down or anything, economics is very complex and maybe no one has explained it before.

profit margin is a formula based on reported income over sales revenue. but that is only accurate if the reporting figures are.

profits are simply actual reported income.

the gas companies claim their profits are because of shrewd business practice, and not milking the public. funny stuff, i must say.

Here is my final point and I know it is harsh and tough to swallow. While we argue about toys there are kids like this and parents that can't feed them.

Next time you ^^^^^ about gas think about what it must be like to be 3 years old and weigh 10 pounds and not have food.

Sad, but maybe parents that live in very poverty stricken areas should not have kids. I for one would not want to have a child I could not provide for and watch him starve or be sick. It's not the responsibiltiy of others to provide for my child.

Gas prices suck, but it's not the end of the world. I still spend money like normal, buy toys, go to the movies and pump fuel into my gas guzzling cars.
