Tonight was fun....until we started playing public. So much for matching us with people of similar rank. Those were the most unmatched matches I think I have ever seen.

Yea, that was pretty bad, we got our ^^^ kicked badly.

Well, I don't play with a known group on Gears, so I always get my butt kicked publicly. I sometimes play privately on COD 4 , but I find when I go back to playing with the public I've got worse.

All of us that were playing together had one or two stripes in ranking...we were playing against people with 3 and 4. First time I've ever seen anyone with 4 stripes and there were a couple of them on the opposing team. We literally got our ***** handed to us....couldn't do squat. As soon as you would respawn they had mortar coming down on you, frags planted, hammer of dawn at the ready or were waiting for you to come around the corner. It was basically, die, respawn, die, respawn, etc..... I was happy I got 3 kills even though I died probably around 15-20 times. That's not helping me with my average. I'll never get my second stripe back.

Yeah, I have only one stripe and I keep meeting people with 4 all the time
It's not too bad though, I'm just happy to get a game after 5 mins of waiting.

Rank doesnt been jack in a public match. JMO. 80% of high ranked players have cheated to get there thus there overrated. Most of the best players are corprals(sp) and sergants. I have no doubt here the best 5 from this site would more then hold there own aginst any other 5 in public.

I'm not surprised by that.....there were a few things that happened that were suspect.....like shooting them in the face with the shottie and nothing happening. Perhaps they had that damn invisible armor.

When playing public if you think something fishy is going on hit select and check the clock if you see it stop or skip a second then someone is standby cheating. and if its laggy as crap check the kill total the high leader during a lag game is usually cheating with a lag switch. High ranked players often use these tactics to win.

Yep they game clock stops and the player cheating runs around and kills everyone.

I've hit the 50 a few times before but what the heck i'm always game. Just LMK when you wanna play. I cant make it today cause of a SB party.
