Turns out there is a correct way to hold the Z6 rotary baster cannon securely. I looked to see how online prop makers were holding it. Use both speeder handle gripping hands. Insert blaster handle through one of the gripping hands so the fingers wrap around the trigger bend, it will stay in very securely when posing.

Decided to add this to the sidecar on my speeder. It did work out better flipping it upside down to the hand held orientation.
Think it looks good on the speeder!
Definitely more menacing looking
