Next Gears of War 2 XP Event Depends on You!

Continuing Gears of War 2's multiplied XP events, Gears Executive Producer, Rod Fergusson has thrown down the gauntlet to players by stating that the next one to follow Tick, Tick, Boom - which offered 8x XP - will depend entirely upon how many Twitter followers Fergusson can gain before the SDCC XP Event kicks off.

"Ok, here's my bribe. The SDCC XP event will be # of my followers divided by 500. So 4000 followers means 8x XP", says Fergusson's (aka GearsViking) tweet.

So, if the number rises to 5000, you'll be earning 10x XP during the next Gears event. If that thought sounds at all inviting, jump onto Twitter now and follow GearsViking. The current number of followers stands at 3,954.

So is there a date for the next one yet or we just have the info that there will be another ?. They will probably end up having a crazy one towards the end like 50x xp just so everyone can level up in time for gears 3.
