I noticed that as well. Grievous doesn't have the shoulders that the other 1:1 bust have, making him seem shorter. I'm sure if the shoulders were included, the cost would have gone up. I'm guessing it will be better to display him alone or on a riser/pedestal. Even further, the no shoulders may be the new trend, seeing that Admiral Ackbar doesn't have them either. Hoping mine will arrive Friday. I've been waiting 2 years for guy, my fave PT character.

Grievous has a peanut head to begin with, it is the rest of him that was larger.

I was hyping myself up for this bust, until I saw ROTS again. Not sure now if I want a life size representation of Grievous, no matter how cool he was supposed to be on paper. The 2003 CW did him right.

I'm not getting it for character, purely design. It's like buying the Mona Lisa, I'd have know clue who she is, it'd just be a piece of artwork to admire. Despite what George did with the character, the design is still very cool and the ILM guys did a great job on the detailing in the eyes.

Just imagine that you never saw Episode III. That's what I'm doing.:D

Yeah, his depiction in the Clone Wars cartoon was too much to overcome on film. The guy took on like 4 jedi masters and a bunch of padawans and took them all to school.

Is still think that the white armor (instead of the baige you see in ROTS) was a better color for his design.

I got him today as well and its a definate presence in the room! For those that have it, do they all have "cords" that are hanging freely near his throat?

Well i reconcile both versions, because he was AWSOME in the CWs, then got his chest chrushed by mace, and because of it he wasnt the same fighter after that. He was still bad assed though, as demonstrated on the deleted scene where he murders shaak ti, just didnt have the same figthing prowess. I dont think it really takes away from the character because we all saw what he did in the CW (His glory days).

Kinda like Obi won.Do we think of Obi won as any less of a fighter because of his dreadfully craptastic lightsaber duel in A New Hope, way past is glory days??? It dosent dispell the fact that in his hayday he took down maul, ani and grevious in some of the sickest fight scenes ever.

Also lucas wanted to demonstrate the short commings cyborg tecnology at the time and foreshadow vaders problems. So i regretfully accept that he got his ass handed to him in ROTS because it does make sense, like he was purposely made to be a let down.

You stand correct but I didn't like the direction they went with that whole part of his story. Seemed like too much of a drastic reach. One simple wave of the hand and Mace crushes grievous' chest in like a soda can. Seemed like if that's all it took then why didn't one of the seasoned Jedi just do this a long time ago..?

Good point, mabey cause that was the first time he came into contact with someone at the level that mace was at??? who knows....

Its is a gorgeous bust though..

A fellow Canadian got this already? Did you order from SS directly? And some pics of this bad boy please : )

The only negative of the entire CN Clone Wars series to me was the absurd powers Jedi have. They could leap like miles in one bound like the Incredible Hulk, move far more things with the force. I chalk Mace taking out Grievous like that to being one of those exaggerations.

Ok good, Im not the only one!

Here is a pic of the insides. You really have to look for it:
