I'll just cancel my Tusken Raider PF.

That's why I'm getting all this ^^^^ in now, so when I get married I can say hey, I had it when you said yes, you knew what you were getting into :lol

that won't stop the nagging though. that wears down your will. after a while you'll tell her you used your rewards points or "won" the item just to keep from hearing the nagging.

OR! You can utilize the reverse, Jedi mind trick guilt trip and deflect her evil powers. Make her feel guilty that she makes you feel bad for enjoying such a simple pleasure. Say "It's all I have and you constantly make me hate myself for enjoying toys. You want to kill my inner child and make me a bitter boring old man- is that what you want? An average boring guy that eats, sleeps, goes to work and does and says nothing interesting. I thought you loved me for being me?"

That should get you a toy. At least one or two. :D

No you are right I am not married.. but this has worked on my GF. Usually though she is pretty cool with my toy buying as long as I don't go crazy and buy everything I see. I found out that expressing genuine interest and excitement over an item is really helpful. If you really get her into the thing that you are buying life will be way easier.

This worked recently when I was buying a new 52 inch TV. :lol I was like... think about how great Viva Pinata is going to look on it and what about Planet Earth on Blu Ray. She was sold. :lol

things change when you get married...but I am one of the lucky ones in that my wife lets me have an "allowance" for this hobby.

And before anyone says it...:whip

But seriously, having an understanding of your budget and ensuring your mortgage is taken care of (as well as having savings etc) are crucial...it is very easy for things to spin out of control...

It's funny when you go into houses and see things people "collect", even if they don't realize they're collecting they've got a bunch of this and that and it's ok, so my collection isn't novelty spoons from my vacations it's figurines from movies, but so what :lol

Good thing is that now I have so much stuff that I'm in the revolving stage of my collecting so I can get rid of old stuff to help cover, or even fully cover the new :rock That seems to keep the wife happy... that and we're closing on a house tomorrow :lol

It all changes when you say 'I do'...My wife was awesome as a GF, now she is a torn in my collecting, but outside of that she's cool...

Yeah, everyone has their own thing.

My waitlist just converted but with the T-800 PF coming in the next month or so I'm not sure which one I should get. I only have the money for one at a time. I'd like to think Greivous is going to be around for a year or so. But the T-800 PF is going to be gone in a very short time I would think.

I'd agree. Between price and popularity, of the two I'd say Grievous is most likely to still be available down the road. Probably the T-800 too, but of the two pieces I'd say that's the bigger risk.

Yeah, the Greivous Bust might have to go on the back burner for now.But I'll leave the order open until right before it ships. Maybe I can swing it,we'll see?
