General Grievous Life Size Bust!

Thanks... But that's The Chaver's dilemma. I'm just debating Grievous-- and I think I'll pull the trigger as the missus has given me the green light (which always makes it easier).

Ok, so after hunting down the FedEx guy around the block I got it!!!

I'm VERY happy with this one. I will say that this isn't AS impressive as the Darth Maul 1:1, but it IS very very sweet. It will make an AWESOME addition to any 1:1 lineup. ESPECIALLY if you have several other Star Wars 1:1's already.... All in all, two thumbs up!

The most impressive thing, IMO, was the texture of the bone. Looks dull and not glossy, like it's supposed to! Makes it feel very real. The only thing I wasn't too impressed with were the eyes. They need to be MORE slimy and glossy! GLASS EYES?!?! But still a great piece

Yeah, but that's about all that I can afford for this year so far

I'll prob make one more purchase this year, depending on how crazy cool the product releases are from Sideshow

i agree about the eyes... the display at the con was incredible... this is a little less incredible (but one can say that about all of the busts eyes)...

I know!!! This one got postponed/delayed for a long time..... But all in all, an AWESOME addition to a Star Wars collection

I thought grievous was SUCH a great villain. Very creative, intimidating..... Just good stuff

WOW!!! awesome pics guys. congrats out to those who wanted one and got their hands on it. this is obviously THE grievous item to get..its jut unfortunate i have no love for the actual character, but if i did i'd have to get one of these.

I hope we've steered you right. I certainly am thrilled to have this bust in my collection, but with space and money, it's no casual purpose, you really have to be happy with owning it to feel good about what you give up.

I love the character and I knew I'd never find a better deal--- I was always leaning towards getting him as even way back when that cryptic picture came out of the SSC hallway and we had an inkling that a 1:1 Grievous was on the way I said that it was a must-have for me.

Nowadays, nothing seems to be a casual purchase.

Sounds like you're on the same page as me. As soon as I had the Maul 1:1 in my posession and could really see the potential for 1:1 busts, I started thinking about characters whose visual look I'd really enjoy at that scale and Grievous was in the top 5, and like you, as soon as we got the tease in that photo, I was on edge with every new announcement waiting for the one that'd be him, hoping it wouldn't die as a proto that never got approved. I believe Palpatine was announced after the tease, so that was kinda like, ok great it's someone else I really want, but where's Grievous, it worried me he might now happen.

I'd still love to get my hands on one of those 1:1 Mauls... The only other 1:1 bust I've got is Yoda--and despite what others have said about the look I think he really captures the character. Palpatine, for some reason, has never really interested me.

I can't wait for that one, it was rumored about the time of the Godfather 1:1; perhaps Con this year!
