Re: NBA 2012-2013

Why the hell would he go back to Cleveland

Hes staying in Miami, especially if they win again this year or next

He got his ring and maybe more, he'd go back so people will like him more, which he cares about and he'd come back for unfinished business so to speak. I can see him staying with the Heat too but him going back to the Cavs is a pretty heavy rumor, it's not like I'm pulling it out of nowhere.

If he goes back it'll be when he's 33+. He might not go back. What if, like Dwyane wade, Miami becomes his home?

He'll stay on the Heat then, he will either go to the Cavs or stay on the Heat, most likely choices. It's 50/50 either way.

Sick dunk by the 17 years veteran :)

Re: NBA 2012-2013

The old man still has some lift in those legs.

In his 17th season the old man still top 5 in the league possiblly top 4 behind Lebron, CP3 and Durant.

I can't remember any NBA players in the past who can still play this good and compete at a high level in his 17th season.

That's funny, considering Wade and Kobe's numbers this year are identical... well except for the fact Kobe need more minutes and shots to pull it off.

Re: NBA 2012-2013

Remember Lakers will have either Dwight and an empty slate (most likely scenario) or a completely empty slate come 2014. The team that always gets their man and room to sign three of them in a tasty free agent market. Nomnomnomnomnom.... Yeah we're doomed.

You mean like the Nets and Knicks had last year and the year before? Yeah, that worked out for them on the Lebron front huh?

Would like to see you compare those numbers when D Wade is in the middle of his 17th season. I'm sure they will be nothing close to Kobe's.

Let's not forget Kobe's played in a total of 1282 games including playoffs. D-Wade has 747 total including playoffs.

omg! get over it

Iverson started before Kobe and played pretty well into his 30's, would still be playing if not for his horrible personality.

They started at the same time in 96/97 season. No way Iverson would still be playing as good as Kobe in his 17th season regardless his personality. He just doesn't have a competitive spirit as high as Kobe not to mention his durability is not as good as Kobe. Ever since he got traded his stat went downhill like nobody business and plus he hates practice :lol

LOL. All I care about is championships anyway. I don't know how many Kobe had 9 years into his career.... was it 2 or 3?

It was 3, but it does not matter when they both retired D Wade will never be considered a better player than Kobe. As far as shooting guard #1 and #2 are locked. MJ is #1 Kobe is #2...D wade don't know, I don't think he will even be #3.
