Re: NBA 2012-2013

They started at the same time in 96/97 season. No way Iverson would still be playing as good as Kobe in his 17th season regardless his personality. He just doesn't have a competitive spirit as high as Kobe not to mention his durability is not as good as Kobe. Ever since he got traded his stat went downhill like nobody business and plus he hates practice :lol

It was 3, but it does not matter when they both retired D Wade will never be considered a better player than Kobe. As far as shooting guard #1 and #2 are locked. MJ is #1 Kobe is #2...D wade don't know, I don't think he will even be #3.

I'm perfectly fine with him not being better than Kobe. He could be #3 or 4 or 5... it's all inconsequential. He's a Miami lifer and champion. He's won plenty of games and an finals MVP. That's all that matters. OH AND HE BROUGHT ME LEBRON... BOOYEAH

Re: NBA 2012-2013

Poor lakers lol. Only rings they'll be buying this year is from Zales...

Shhhh... that's only if KOBE the rapists gets in a bind with his wife again.

I've always said it, chances are better Vanessa Bryant gets another ring before Kobe does.

Re: NBA 2012-2013

I don't know how some of you other Lakers fans felt about D12 interview with Stephen A., but he just rubbing me the wrong way now. It'll be great to run his arse out of town. He has no championship pedigree in him whatsoever...

I seriously doubt that this guy will ever lead us or any other franchise to a NBA title. Damn sure not as the main guy that runs the engine.

Re: NBA 2012-2013

You're just Lucky you have some laker stink (pat riley) running the showhe's what might keep LeBron there. Not a wade in decline.

Yep, but wade will take less money I bet, if they continue to contend for titles to bring in younger talent. Bosh is a easier guy to replace. He's soft like gasol without the post game, but a better jump shot.

Many of us saw what you now see last year. He lacks the competitiveness to lead a team all the way.

Re: NBA 2012-2013

Meanwhile boring, old, broke down, talent-less, never gonna contend again Spurs win 11 straight :)

Kobe to Dwight:

"We don't have time for (Howard's shoulder) to heal, we need some urgency."
"Dwight worries too much about what people think, I told him, 'You can't worry about that. It's holding you back.' He says, 'OK, OK, OK,' but it's always hovering around him. He just wants people to like him. He doesn't want to let anyone down, and that gets him away from what he should be doing."
"(Howard) has never been in a position where someone is driving him as hard as I am, as hard as this organization is. It's win a championship or everything is a complete failure. That's just how (the Lakers) do it. And that's foreign to him.

Howard preached patience in a recent interview with ESPN's Stephen A. Smith, pointing to the fact that Bryant and Shaquille O'Neal needed three years before winning a championship with the Lakers.

But the 34-year-old Bryant is approaching this season with more desperation. "We don't have three years," Kobe said. "We've got this year."

In short Kobe to Dwight:

Both teams missing their stars and are a shell of their former selves...this'll be like two old grandpas duking it out. Don't break a hip! :lol
