Re: NBA 2012-2013

They should have handled it better. I will say I think getting physical with them is a way to get at them. I think its why Chicago has had some success (in the regular season at least) against them.

Agreed it is an impressive streak.

I don't recall anyone giving the celtics crap for doing the same the past two years in the playoffs. I believe the pacers were the same way. It's hypocritical to hate on the heat, but not anyone else and who really cares when the teams hate each other? Some of the same members that bash the heat about showing more class go around calling everyone names. Classic...

Re: NBA 2012-2013

That's fine, it's always ironic for ppl to hate on the heat for anything and not give other teams crap. Very very ironic. I have no problem with the bulls having their moment this season.

Lol. 27 wins in a row and the jealous haters in this thread want to talk about how the heat walked off without shaking hands?! ROFL. The only thing that matters in the end is the ring. They could've win 82 in a row. Without the ring it means nothing. I'll take 27-1 the rest of the way every day all day.

Well, I have no problems calling things like I see them. I'd do it if it was the Bulls. People really need to toughen up. Good Lord.

There is nothing about Miami that I'm jealous of. Not a thing.

Re: NBA 2012-2013

I liked how the Nuggets had a chance to win at the end...did not like the play call and the personnel on the court.

Re: NBA 2012-2013

I hate those Spanglish jerseys teams wear. "El Heat", "los Spurs", etc. pathetic.

The only one I know thats actually cool is when the Brewers do it their jerseys are actually translated into real Spanish as "Cerveceros".

Re: NBA 2012-2013

First off, congrats to the Heat for the second longest streak in history. And congrats to the Bulls for ending that streak.

Regarding the end of the game, I have no issue with the Heat leaving the court like that AT ALL because it's a regular season game. Chances are that the Heat may see the Bulls again in the playoffs, so you want to maintain that intensity. I absolutely agree with Jeff Van Gundy's comments at the end of the game (for those that didn't watch, Van Gundy complimented the Heat and said that teams should compete so hard that at the end of a game they shouldn't be buddy buddy).

Now, had this happened in the playoffs, at the end of a series, I would have issue with it. If your season is ended by another team, and you don't get to move on, congratulate the team and wish them well. But with the playoffs and the chance to met the team again still looming, maintain your intensity as well as your game face.

Re: NBA 2012-2013

On the one hand, I would have liked to see history made but on the other, I hate the heat, so win win. Though the second longest streak in history ain't too shabby. Love the way the bulls played though...very gritty and tough. If Rose comes back, we may have ourselves a good series in the East.

Re: NBA 2012-2013

^ this... I knew his season was lost when he said he wanted to wait to come back when he could dunk off his left foot...srsly?

I disagree man. THink about it objectively... Last night everything went just about perfect for Chicago. Deng was off the chain. Heinrich played well. McARthur was hitting threes... I dont even know that guy. Haslem had 5 fouls 3 min into the 2nd half. Bosh couldnt hit an open jumper.

Two years ago, Chicago had a much better and deepers team. Asik, Korver, Healthy Noah and MVP Rose and lost to a much worse Heat (Bibby and Ilgauskas starting!!!!) in 5 games.

Re: NBA 2012-2013

Well, as a fan of the team I want him to come back but I want him back 110% physically and mentally. That way he goes out and plays at the MVP level Bulls fans know he can play at. If he comes back this year that's great and if he doesn't thats fine too. I want 10+ years of a high level DRose and not a Gilbert Arenas situation.
