Re: NBA 2012-2013

Well, as a fan of the team I want him to come back but I want him back 110% physically and mentally. That way he goes out and plays at the MVP level Bulls fans know he can play at. If he comes back this year that's great and if he doesn't thats fine too. I want 10+ years of a high level DRose and not a Gilbert Arenas situation.

:exactly: :goodpost:

I still he's acting like a little B#$%, come and play and help you're team. Doctors have cleared him to play. You make millions of dollars, stop crying

Like most of your posts when it comes to basketball I'll just consider the source. :lol

Re: NBA 2012-2013

Whatever man, no need to be pretentious. Been watching the NBA for 20 years and been playing just as long, so consider the source all you want, my opinion is just as valid if not more so then the next guy. Bottom line is your boy is being a little baby and I actually want him to come back so the Bulls have a shot. He's fine, the doctors say it, he just doesn't want the pressure I feel like and that's just sad. Duncan, Kobe, Jordan, even Lebron would play

Re: NBA 2012-2013

First off, congrats to the Heat for the second longest streak in history. And congrats to the Bulls for ending that streak.

Regarding the end of the game, I have no issue with the Heat leaving the court like that AT ALL because it's a regular season game. Chances are that the Heat may see the Bulls again in the playoffs, so you want to maintain that intensity. I absolutely agree with Jeff Van Gundy's comments at the end of the game (for those that didn't watch, Van Gundy complimented the Heat and said that teams should compete so hard that at the end of a game they shouldn't be buddy buddy).

Now, had this happened in the playoffs, at the end of a series, I would have issue with it. If your season is ended by another team, and you don't get to move on, congratulate the team and wish them well. But with the playoffs and the chance to met the team again still looming, maintain your intensity as well as your game face.

Bingo, but people will pick at anything Heat related

And on D Rose, we are not in his shoes so shouldnt make assumptions, I wouldnt risk millions of dollars either.

Re: NBA 2012-2013

Just curious, what do you think is worse at this point, missing the playoffs or making the playoffs and getting embarrassed? If this were the Spurs I would rather just miss the playoffs and call it a season. The spotlight is so much worse with playoff embarrassments.

Re: NBA 2012-2013

I think it's more embarrassing to miss the playoffs. Better to get embarrassed by the #1 seed in the West.

In general I'd say making the playoffs and getting whooped. For a team like the Lakers sadly neither is better than the other.

Re: NBA 2012-2013

Yea, making the playoffs and losing would still be better. As for D-rose, sure no one can say since they are not in his position. But I think it's safe to say that if it were Kobe, he would have been back on the court 2 months ago.

Re: NBA 2012-2013

Coach isn't moving in my opinion. Rather pau and metta will be moved for shooters to spread out the court. Together they're almost 1/3 of our payroll. Ill miss mettas left hand of doom and paus refined game. But life is all about moving on...

Re: NBA 2012-2013

Yeah, D'Antoni won't be fired, for the simple fact that the Lakers would then have to pay Mike Brown AND Mike D'Antoni.
