I'd rather miss the playoffs altogether than make it and be bounced in the 1st round. At least you get a chance at the lottery. Look at the Bulls who missed the playoffs just by 4 games and ended up with Derrick the gimp Rose.

Jazz should in theory but they act like they're allergic to the playoffs or something..I would like to see the Blazers they're a pretty fun team to watch but they're also inconsistent. Lakers are injury riddled and jinxed this season.
I'm gonna pick the Mavs to sneak in. They're playing pretty well right now...

I still think Kobe somehow wills us into the 8th spot but I'm not expecting anything in the playoffs.

Last I looked Portland was handling Utah, that changed.
