Idk, when Paul George was going to break the scoring record is just a exhibition game all star game, Pop told his guys to stop him from doing so. I think Pop will take at least one of the two games seriously to preserve history.

I don't think GS is breaking the record. I think they MIGHT tie the record. I wonder if they are feeling the pressure a little and it's effecting how they play. I didn't watch the game last night but Steph's stat line looked pretty bad for him. I don't think they will beat San Antonio twice and the way they are playing just in the last week, I'm not sure they beat Memphis twice. They SHOULD beat Memphis but we'll see. I wouldn't mind seeing them break the record though so hopefully they can get their **** back together and go 4-0.

I think GS is probably having some mental issues. Its tough to play that many games with the media always hounding you and telling you how great you are and expecting you to break records. I know it was kinda swept under the rug but when I was watching the GS Oklahoma game where they reported Green went ballistic in the locker room at half time I took that as an early indicator its not all perfect

Spurs are planning to play their "core" group against Golden State tonight. Should be interesting.

Well that sucked...

Hopefully Spurs win at home in the re-re-rematch. Not gonna lie, I really want that 41-0 home record for 'em...

Didn't have a chance to watch the game, but from the final score, I could imagine it felt anti-climatic.

I think the home game is key: it would prevent the Warriors from setting the win record AND ensure a undefeated home record for the SPurs.

Kerr is now saying he may rest players depending on the team's mindset; Draymond Green, Klay Thompson, and Harrison Barnes have already gone on record saying they want to play for the record.

That would be dumb if they started resting players imo. I understand playoffs are 1000% more important but they will get a cupcake first-round match up (the Jazz? lmao). There will be plenty of blowouts in those games to rest guys in 4th quarter. Plus you only get a chance like this once in a lifetime to be part of something this unique and this special.

And if I were them, I would definitely play 110% against the Spurs in SA because they should do everything in their power to prevent SA from going undefeated at home.

I think the Warriors will go the rest of the way without resting starters. Even if they lose the next game, they can still tie the record and that is very much worth playing for. If they lose the next 2, I can see them resting the last game cuz its meaningless at that point.

Sat could be a catch game for them cause I'm sure the SA game is already on their minds. I hope they don't lose tomorrow cause it will make Sunday a little less interesting. Sunday could be the day where one team loses out on a big time record.

2004 Dream Team did that as well I think ...that was the year they lost (with AI and Duncan) to Argentina iirc...not a good sign lol

Tonight's the night ladies and germs...someone's quest for history is going down...I think this is gonna be a helluva game...

GO SPURS GO

Spurs lost :gah:

They looked totally disinterested tonight and deserved to lose, much less having the honor of being the only undefeated home team in history.

Grizzlies had their best chance in beating GS at home on Friday in their one point loss. I don't see how they win at GS. GS should have the record.

But that don't mean diddly if they don't win the championship.
