that's one game. Indiana sure got screwed on a obvious foul at the end. A potential Miami/Cle match up could be very interesting.

Wow, I'm not one to complain about refs but Holy Sweet Jeebus wait til you see the blatant missed offensive foul on the Ibaka inbound. smfh.

I think it's somewhat rigged too but that blown call on waiters/ginobili seems to go against it being rigged. Spurs are better and would have better chance at beating golden state.

That being said, there were many blown calls during that entire sequence. Waiters knows better but Manu needed to give him space (his hands were out of bounds and angled).

Either way, thunder up!

Ginobli also went into the no no zone which should have been a technical foul before the Waiters bump. The five misses were discussed in depth with a retired league official on NBA Tv......I guess if rigged for who since both sides benefited? don't get yourself in a spot where one call either way can cost you a game :dunno

wasn't ATl one of the best 3pt defensive teams? I don't think it was luck that most of their 3's were wide open. They did tie the overall record not too long ago as well. Besides Lebron, they really do have a lot of good 3pt shooters. Frye has turned out to be a really good pick up for them so far.

Luck = don't assume you'll be that successful next game trying to force the three ball. I antcipate the Hawks will self correct next game making the three a more difficult option and (past behavior means anything) the Cavs come out "three happy" for a quarter or two regardless how well it's falling. I'd rather them take advantage of opportunities given v forcing something and finish it.

This is the offense the Cavs envisioned last year, but they were beset by injuries, losing Kyrie Irving and Kevin Love, both three point threats in their own right.

I know the Warriors and their fans get upset when it's mentioned that they beat a hobbled Cavs team in the finals, but it is what it is.

Should GS make it out of the West, it will be fun watching them match up. This Cavs teams is at full strength, and they added another shooter in Channing Frye.

Surrounding Lebron with four shooters is deadly. Instead of having to lead the Cavs in scoring, assists, and rebounds, he can defer the scoring load to Kyrie, Kevin can pick up the lion's share of rebounding, and he can just get the open man the ball.

A crunch time lineup of Lebron, Kyrie, Kevin, Channing Frye, and JR Smith would be deadly. I know they'd probably prefer Tristan Thompson for some more defense, but have Kevin Love play center and there's no one you could leave open.

from what I recall from yesterday, they took what the defense gave them. You can't count Smith cause those are the only shots he takes. I think Cle just had geat ball movement. I don't expect them to make 20 again, but they have been averaging 15 makes a game I believe. I don't know how Atl will adjust, I'm not sure there is anything they can really do. They need their own all stars to put up big numbers in game 3.

Cle is averaging 35 threes hitting on 16 per game....shooting 45%. I'm not suggesting Atl can stop Cle but one should antcipate adjustments to make it more difficult to hit the three ball after being embarrassed. Watched Cle for many years they tend to fall into patterns versus playing smart....I rather they play smart and finish these guys because it's obvious Cle should win the series

Pretty easy to tell the Finals match up

SA\GS vs Cavs

I was going to put OKC in the mix, but I can see each game that Durant doesn't care anymore like before. Looks like he's ready to leave OKC if they don't beat Spurs :pfft:

The Conference finals should be fun between Miami and Cavs

OKC will be fortunate if they win another game imo, but no more than that. I think a Cle vs Miami series would be fun to watch. In all honesty, if Cle doesn't make the finals for whatever reason, it's gonna be a clean sweep for the West.

Strange schedule for the Miami /Toronto

One game at home for both teams in the beginning of the series?

Clev, SA, GS had two at home to start

It's got to be because they have to travel to another country
