That must have been awesome to be a witness to that game. Arguably one of the greatest shots of all time in what was a very entertaining finals.
Brady played that Super Bowl with a basically broken ankle. Had a walking boot on most of the time. Brady and the offense didn't choke. He had them up with under two minutes left after leading what would have been game winning drives in both Super Bowls. Eli got lucky on both and the defense played terrible in the final minutes.
If you think Pats choked... what about the Spurs "choking" away two games.

Sorry, not a choke. Many teams make last second shots to tie or win games all the team. Heat were the number one team that year and the Spurs were a top 5(?) team... Heat stepped up when they had to. The only legit choke I've seen by the Spurs (who were hurt that year if we're gonna play that game) was the (1) Spurs losing to the (8) Grizzlies - now that was a choke.
But nothing compares to the stank of an undefeated team losing to a team that barely made the playoffs like your beloved pats did.
Man, you forgot how game 6 went... didn't you? You call yourself a Spurs fan and don't mention this? Come on....
Spurs were up by 5 with 28 seconds left.... in game 6 when they were leading the series 3-2. They choked. They had a 98.5% chance at winning the championship at that time. They choked both offensively and defensively. Not only that... then they had a chance in OT to win it... and they choked again. What about game 7 when Duncan misses that easy shot to tie late? Choke.
Spurs choked.
Pats defense choked to, but not the offense. Brady always had his team up late.
I remember very well. But I don't think you fully understand what 'choke' means. LeBron hit a three and Allen hit a three. That's two hof players stepping up when it mattered. And that 98.5% is BS which has already been proven fallible. We can have this tautological debate until our fingers fall off but the bottom line is going undefeated and losing to a team that barely made the playoffs is leaps and bounds worse that a Spurs team losing to the #1 team in the league in the final seconds because 2 hof players hit clutch shots.
Brady got the ball back in both Super Bowls with enough time to win.
Excuses.
