I wasn't convinced at the beginning of the series and I'm still not....Hous offense can't beat GS for 4 out of 7 playing that 1 on 5 garbage. If Hous replaces their idiotic coach next year with someone who believes in team ball, I think they could do it. Bos is way too young to knock off GS this year. Maybe with a healthy Irving and Hayward next year.

Its not just GS losing to Houston its Golden State not even making the finals let alone winning it all. This is the team EVERYONE said would walk away with not only the title this year but possibly for the next 2-3 years and for them to lose in the conference finals is a choke job of epic proportions.

But for some reason I still think they will win this series and the title.

73-9 and losing the finals after a 3-1 lead is still worse.

Kevin Love is out for Game 7 as well...so the second best player on both of the Rockets and the Cavaliers are out.

Well I certainly didn’texpect Two game 7 ‘s from both conferences

I guess injuries made the difference in the Conference finals

I’m sure at this point all four teams are practically spent

This should be interesting :horror

Two years later and just reading that still brings a smile to my face. I was born in Cleveland, and lived in NE Ohio my whole life before I moved to Japan.

Game 7 2016 was the single most amazing sports moment I've ever witnessed in my entire life.

The only thing that could ever possibly top it would be the Indians winning a World Series, and seeing how they love to choke when it actually counts, that's obviously never gonna happen.

I don't expect the Cavs to win tonight, but LeBron is an inhuman force of nature, so I guess it's possible. I'm sad this is likely his last game as a Cav (again) but I'm totally OK with that this time. He made good on his promise and he "owes" me nothing. I wish him all the best wherever he ends up next.

Indians definitely choked against the Cubs. That was hard to take.

As for LeBron, has anyone had a better postseason than he’s having right now? Just when you think he’s lost a step or can’t do anything else, he does. Take him off this Cavs team and they’d be lucky to win 30 games. What’s he’s been doing during the playoffs is incredible.

You trade LeBron for any one player on Golden State and Cleveland doesn't make the playoffs... that's how pathetic the rest of that squad is. There is no way Curry or KD could make anything out of that team.

Harden has yet to put together a complete 48 minute game in this series. With or without a hobbled Paul, he wont do it, but I hope he proves me wrong.

I'm just glad Lebron got them to game 7, and I hope most Cle fans don't hold it against him when he leaves. Hes got too many miles on the body to put them on his back again next year. I will be rooting for Bos to win because I don't want to see another pointless loss on his finals record like his first finals appearance and the first matchup against GS when Love and Irving were out. Bos will also be more competitive in the finals over Cle.

They'll always be people who will argue, for whatever reason. The Cavs most likely will lose the Finals, and they will point to LeBron James' Finals record. But taking this team to the Finals, in his 15th season, was a helluva accomplishment.

Say what you want..but Lebron can certainly light it up when he needs too

There is no answer in the Eastern conference for him in his era :thud:

Boston was too green..they are not GS, they fell in love with too many 3 pt attempts trying to smear James . The coach should’ve settled them down , but he didn’t

IMO, they were drained they had no energy to attack the paint ..this is where the experience of Lebron outplayed them

Damn you Lebron for being so amazing. 48 minutes? Really. Who else in the league is even capable of that?....let alone with his miles. Its remarkable.

I think the Cavs could take 2 games from Hou if they played, but only 1 from GS. I hate to see him take another finals loss, but one guy can only do so much.

He’s incredible. At this point, I wouldn’t put anything past him. But it will be an uphill battle—the Cavs roster is pretty thin.

I think pretty thin is putting it lightly.......you know what the 2nd leading scorer on this team is averaging in the playoffs so far in Kevin Love? A measly 13.9pts/game. This team might be worse than the scrubs he took to the finals in his first time outing.

To put that in perspective, from Deadspin (https://deadspin.com/even-gassed-lebron-is-too-much-lebron-1826361670):

Lebron's

Incredible, indeed.

It's funny just a year or so ago, all those old timers were complaining when the current guys were taking regular season games off, yet those guys were never playing minutes like this when it really counts, let alone at the age of 33.
