Lakers without Kobe equals I don’t care anymore. Ball can climb in a hole and it wouldn’t matter. Lebron will hate it there.

Bron should go to Houston and co lead with CP3

I corrected your post. Harden is no leader.

Cavs organization should just pack it in. Be happy they got a championship. Sell the team to a city that's starving for a professional team.

Who wants to watch the Cavs without LeBron again? It sucked.

This could have been a competitive series. JR Smith cost them the chance. What a moron. The Blunder will live on in infamy forever.

Don’t forget that Lebron made a blunder too...when he didn’t call a time out at the end of game one, because he wasn’t sure if they had one. He started to call one, and stopped. I guess he didn’t want to pull a Chris Webber.

The next question is where will James wind up.....Based on his age, I’d guess he wants to be on a contender but what one does he fit?

Houston -too many folks who dominate the ball
Wolves - maybe but not big enough market
Lakers - not ready
Boston - oh the humanity
Warriors - bye bye Desmond lol

I think it’s Cavs, 76ers or Rockets. Lakers are a dark horse, if Magic can get some other talent there. I’m sure the Lakers would be his first choice IF they are competitive. Another dark horse might be the Spurs and Pop.

Exactly. MJ was a straight killer. He can win in any era. He got clobbered every time he drove to the rim and still managed to have the highest post and regular seaon scoring average in the history of the game. Arm on the back, hand checking, and physical D around the basket are a thing of the past. What would MJ be able to do in today's NBA where you can't even touch another player? Answer...anything he damn well pleases.

What would modern players be able to do if they were able to hand check on D? The argument goes both ways. Lebron would be GREAT in any era. So would Steph. MJ is great in any era, but he’d be slightly less good in this era since he wasn’t a great shooter. He’d still be the best player, but just not by the same margin. MJ was just perfect for his era (once he got past the Pistons).

Yes, plus he would have gotten better at shooting the 3. He wouldn't be as good as Curry, that's a whole different level, but prime MJ would be a problem for any team. I'd love to see what MJ and Lebron would do together as a team. They would terrorize the NBA.

They’d be incredible, but similar to Wade/Lebron. Neither MJ or Lebron can shoot well enough to be a perfect tandem. They’d dominate, but there are diminishing returns when having players with similar weaknesses. Both players are ball dominant and are only fair shooters. Granted, MJ got better at shooting in his later years.

But you can't prove any that which is why you can't make someone better than anyone else for all time. All you can judge is how dominate they were in their day. I agree Jordan PROBABLY would average 50 today but there is no prof and no way to know for sure.

No way MJ would average 50 without a consistent jump shot on a winning team today. MJs skill set is less valuable in today’s game. He’d still be the best player in the league, but not as dominant as he was in the 1990’s.

And all these replies prove that you can't decide on a GOAT.

MJ is the GOAT to me. I never saw Wilt or Bill Russell play though. Kareem is top 5 too. Lebron is top 10 for sure, and possibly as high as number 2 depending on what you’re looking for.

I always hated MJ, but I respect his game. I obviously hated the MJ copycat too (Kobe).

Warriors won title have budding dynasty and majority of the talk is Lebron’s free agency on media outlets....

How soon all is forgotten in today’s world ....

I think it’s because it was expected. The Warriors were the favorite by a pretty big margin, and took care of business. Lebron always dominates NBA headlines, and how he moves forward is an unknown.

Exactly... everyone knew GS was going to win. No shock, no surprise no nothing. And guess what... it will be the same next year and probably the year after that.

You dont think if Bos traded away Irving for maybe more picks, then add Lebron and have Hayward back.....that they wouldn't have a roster even more capable of beating GS than Hou? I'm not a Boston fan at all, but I wanna see the great GS go down.

Not if Lebron has a good team they won't. Hell, even the Rockets without CP were a challenge for GSW. If Bron played for the Rockets, GSW wouldn't make it to the finals, imo. He won't tho.

It bugs me that the NBA conferences seem to cater around teams with good defense now like GS. I wonder because of all the prospects that are coming out of the NCAA , are more guys that are stronger with shooting than defense and there aren’t that many defensive players so that’s why teams have weak defense like Cavs and Toronto .

There is no all around teams that have good scorers and terrific defense in the EC anymore.

I think management needs to draft better and get all around players

Otherwise it’s always going to be GS every year for a while

Well, any decent team that adds Lebron has a shot of course (Houston, Boston, Philly) but I don't think he goes to any of those teams. To me it seemed like GS was kind of sleepwalking through Houston this season and next time they won't be so lax. I hope to hell GS loses every game next year but they will keep KD and they have 1-2 more championships.

There was something off with the Warriors this year. This has been eluded to by a few players in the last few days, but they did not divulge what it was that caused the problems. My guess it it will come out over the summer and we’ll understand why the Warriors underperformed for much of the season.

If the Warriors were playing like they did a year or two ago, the would have beat the Rockets in five.

As a Warrior fan my entire life I hope not, but who knows? If there was an issue coming from the locker room, KD wouldn’t have said he was going to re-sign, so I suspect it’s an external issue of some sort.
