Congratulations to the Toronto Raptors for winning their first NBA championship... and congrats to the Warriors for competing as hard as they did.

Wow I can’t believe in the Steve Kerr coaching era

Only Lebron and Canada beat Dubs for the championship :horror

How could we say this in NBA history

Congrats to the Raptors! I do wish Klay had been healthy all series...prob would have gone 7 for sure. But Toronto still earned it. Gonna be a fun off season though!!! On to free agency!!! As a lakers fan, I am expecting the worst, yet praying for the best!!!

Times a changing folks

Both Expansion teams are champions in the NBA

Don’r forget about Dirk and the Mavericks

Definitely glad to see those guys get a ring. Much deserved.

Think of their long time teammates from their former teams still hoping

Derozen, lillard, Zack Randolph, Mike Connelly, Russell Westbrook

Sarakawa, I’ve been holding this quote from you in my back pocket until the Finals were over, but this post of your’s from last year aged well:

I dunno, it feels like GS is just getting to a point of too much of a good thing. I feel like karma will bite them in the ass with injuries or something this year.

GS has nothing to hang their head about. They competed hard. Yes, they were decimated by injuries this postseason, but they also benefited from injuries during their championship years: 2015 they faced a Cavs team minus Kevin Love and Kyrie was lost for the Finals after Game 1; 2017, Kawhi Leonard was injured on Zaza Pachulia’s close out; last year, Chris Paul missed Games 6 and 7 of the Western Conference Finals.

As for Toronto, should Kawhi leave...guess what? The trade was worth it. It won the Raptors a championship. I’m still of the belief that Sam Presti trades Harden too early. OKC could have rolled the dice and seen what could have happened.

Cleveland and Canada beat California for The Championship what a mouthful :lol

yep. In one way or another, every single title takes some luck. Unfortunately, injuries are apart of the game and this year, GS wasn't going to catch the break they needed. I hope Klay didn't tear anything. GS , even when decimated, are a very tough bunch. What a crazy game.

I'm just glad Cousins didn't win one. It's refreshing to see a team win their first title in the NBA.

Who will represent the WC in the Finals next year if Durant doesn’t play

Houston?
OKC?

I have a feeling Toronto will be back in the finals next year

I actually think the Warriors will be fine. They will lose Durant and Cousins, get some role player depth and probably be right back in the western conf finals next year. Having Draymon, Steph, and Klay will get you far if you have some solid supporting cast. As for Kawhi, regardless of what happens, for now, he is officially the best Raptor of all time:lol I don't care if it was just one year, he did it all. Now, If I could just get Anthony Davis traded to the Lakers and keep Kuz, I'll be a very excited Lakers fan...though I would also take Bradley Beal if we can keep Kuz and either Lonzo/or 4th pick/or Ingram.
